I surprisingly got an ARC for J. Daniels' Where We Belong. Now, she's a favorite author of mine and she could write the dictionary and I would love it. That being said, this book was AWESOME. But I wouldn't make this stuff up, it's just the truth!
From the moment I opened my kindle, I could feel the love between Ben and Mia OOZING off the pages. I may have lost my ovaries when Ben was doing daddy duty. Good heavens that man is sexy but it's oh-so-sweet.
Can you feel the love right there?!!? It's ALL OVER THIS BOOK!
And Tessa is such a bad influence on Mia!!!! lol. But it was great how supportive Tessa is for Mia. And oftentimes, it's pretty funny. Their friendship is strong, funny, and real.
I knew this was a novella, yet I couldn't make myself slow down. I DEVOURED this book. It was so great to see Ben & Mia again. I loved getting to see what was going on in their lives as well as Luke/Tessa, and Reed/Beth.
This story is sweet, sexy-as J. does it, and perfect for Ben and Mia. It's realistic and funny and I don't think I could ever say no to more from this couple. J. knocked it out of the ballpark again! This book filled me up.
In order for this book to truly capture you, I think you should read Where I Belong first as you will get Ben and Mia's entire story. This novella is like a bonus read! SO SO GREAT!
