  Blurb:

A new standalone romance from USA Today bestselling author Meghan Quinn and narrated by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro... I haven't seen her in three years. I haven't talked to her since the kiss. So why am I on a plane, flying across the world to spend a week with her in Germany? One word: Pops. My life’s a mess. My possible football career is hanging on by a thread. I'm driving the roads of Germany in honor of Pops with the one girl I can never have. And I’m sharing a bed with her, the girl I've measured everyone else up to, while desperately trying to not to touch her. We made a pact growing up, never to get romantic with each other - never fall in love. And I'm about to break that pact.

 For good.

My Review

Ooh! I was excited to get more Ellie and Devlin! I couldn’t read this book fast enough. Devlin has a past. Some Ellie knows about and others she knows are there but doesn’t know the WHAT. I enjoyed the twisty way in which this story was told and the way the danger circles them. I couldn’t get enough of these two and I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to My Cruel Salvation!

Marina Adair - Hopeless Romantic review

I was excited to go back to Rome and get Beckett’s story! Beckett was quite the character. I enjoyed her strength and her compassion. Her story was slightly sad but I was SO GLAD she had Levi in her life, even if she didn't recognize that right away. He was such a cheerleader for her and gave her what she didn't know she needed. She was fiercely protective of her family and she did what she needed to do to take care of them, even at her own expense. She was quirky and fun and I loved the breath of fresh air she brought to Levi. Levi had his own trauma and sadness he was dealing with in his life and he was drawn to Beckett. I loved the push/pull between them and the respect they had for one another. I couldn't read this book fast enough and I definitely recommend this read!

A funny and delightful story from the New York Times bestselling author of the St. Helena Vineyard series that fans of Avery Flynn, Kristan Higgins, and Helena Hunting will love.

Set against the breezy backdrop of coastal Rhode Island, bestselling author Marina Adair’s latest novel asks whether two of a small town’s biggest hearts can learn to put themselves first—in the name of love. . .

As caregiver for her autistic brother, Beckett Hayes knows how meaningful a little extra help can be when life happens. Which is why she runs Consider It Done, a personal concierge service in her small town. Her job also gives her the flexibility to follow her passion, being Rome, Rhode Island’s unofficial special needs advocate, training emotional support companions in her spare time. There’s not much of that, though, and certainly not enough for serious dating. It’s always been family first for Beck. But one unquestionably gorgeous, good-natured man is suddenly a temptation that’s getting tougher to resist . . .

Sixteen years ago, Levi Rhodes was ready to sail off into the sunset—literally. But then his father’s death and his sister’s unexpected pregnancy postponed his sailing scholarship and the adventures he had planned. Running the family marina and bar was the least he could do for his grieving mother. Plus, his niece needed a father-figure. But now that she’s in high school and has her bio-dad in her life, Levi’s wondering if it’s time to get his sea legs under him again. Or he was wondering, until curvy, caring Beck showed up in his bar, and then in his dreams . . .

Told in alternating timelines, THE THINGS WE LEAVE UNFINISHED examines the risks we take for love, the scars too deep to heal, and the endings we can’t bring ourselves to see coming. Twenty-eight-year-old Georgia Stanton has to start over after she gave up almost everything in a brutal divorce—the New York house, the friends, and her pride. Now back home at her late great-grandmother’s estate in Colorado, she finds herself face-to-face with Noah Harrison, the bestselling author of a million books where the cover is always people nearly kissing. He’s just as arrogant in person as in interviews, and she’ll be damned if the good-looking writer of love stories thinks he’s the one to finish her grandmother’s final novel…even if the publisher swears he’s the perfect fit. Noah is at the pinnacle of his career. With book and movie deals galore, there isn’t much the “golden boy” of modern fiction hasn’t accomplished. But he can’t walk away from what might be the best book of the century—the one his idol, Scarlett Stanton, left unfinished. Coming up with a fitting ending for the legendary author is one thing, but dealing with her beautiful, stubborn, cynical great-granddaughter, Georgia, is quite another. But as they read Scarlett’s words in both the manuscript and her box of letters, they start to realize why Scarlett never finished the book—it’s based on her real-life romance with a World War II pilot, and the ending isn’t a happy one. Georgia knows all too well that love never works out, and while the chemistry and connection between her and Noah is undeniable, she’s as determined as ever to learn from her great-grandmother’s mistakes—even if it means destroying Noah’s career.

Kendall Ryan - The Stud Next Door review

 The Stud Next Door
By Kendall Ryan
Release Day: January 19, 2021

About the Book

Life threw me a curveball. An adorable eight-pound, four-ounce curveball with her mother’s eyes and my dark hair. I’d like to think my single-dad game is strong, but honestly? I’ve been struggling a little.

When a beautiful young woman moves in next door and offers to give me a hand, I jump at the chance to hire her as a nanny. Jessa is amazing with my daughter. She’s also patient, kind, and way too pretty.

The number one rule of hiring a nanny? Don’t bed the nanny.

It’s a rule I intend to keep.

But as the days pass, I begin to realize how much my life is missing. Companionship. Romance. Intimacy. When I discover my heart has space for one more female, it’s a lost cause, another curveball. The hot-as-hell nanny is leaving soon for a mission trip to Central America. No sense in letting myself fantasize about Jessa being a permanent part of my life.

The closer we get, the more difficult it becomes to keep my feelings in check, because my heart won’t listen. And neither will my libido.

Well, you know what they say. Rules are meant to be broken . . .

My Review

This was a fun read I found myself lost in! I was looking forward to Connor's story. His life changed unexpectedly, but he handled things as well as he could! Jessa just happens to be in the right place at the right time and is able to offer Connor some help! They chemistry is there but both of them realize baby Marley is first priority. Their story was cute, had all the feels and was just what I needed. I can always count on Kendall to brighten my day and have me lost in the feels!

The flare of a cigarette and the handsome Irishman in the shadows--I wanted it all, but I wasn’t allowed to want. Ronan was danger and beauty, murder and mercy. To me, he was a mystery, but he was also the only man who ever knew me. In that single stolen moment before I had to give my life to someone else, I imagined myself with him, the man with scars and bruises. The one who knew what hurting meant far more than I did at that time. Instead I was given to another man, one who broke my soul right along with my bones. Through it all, there was always that memory of the man in the shadows, the one who said--not in words--that I was strong, that I could endure, that I was more than just a princess in a ballgown. Now Ronan is the only man who could keep me safe from two warring families that wanted my blood. The spark that started two years ago burned brighter with each touch, each glance, each kiss. He woke me from the nightmare, giving me life with soft touches and sharp words. Two years ago, Ronan gave me strength, but he took something in return. I never gave him my heart, but hearts like mine are made to be stolen.

My Review

I love M. O'Keefe books and this one was SO GOOD! Angsty, intense, with a bit of mystery/danger. I was completely lost in Poppy's story. Her life hasn't been easy and her troubles were familial. She has found herself in a tough spot with only one option when she meets Ronan. He's dark, mysterious and dangerous. She knows this without actually knowing anything about him. When life throws her a curve ball again, Ronan is there and he's not who she should want. I enjoyed the push/pull between them. I wanted things for Poppy and I wanted to know the truth. I was completely sucked into this story and I couldn't read it fast enough! I LOVED this book and can't recommend it enough. Now, I wait for the next book!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn't allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now she’s breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. It’s an adjustment she’s happily getting used to.

Rachel Lacey - Come Away With Me review

I adore Rachel Lacey's writing and was excited to get another book from this series. While the others don't have to be read first, I do recommend it. Piper has had a traumatic event happen in her life. She's trying to overcome and move on with her life. What she wasn't expecting was Chloe. I liked the way in which they met and how they left an impact on each other. When they realized there was something real between them, they took a chance. I liked the ease they had with one another and the deep emotions and conversations they had. Chloe has a great family supporting her, even though she had overcome loss in her life as well. Piper wasn't so lucky and Chloe (and her family) was a breath of fresh air to the fakeness in Piper's life. Their story was sweet and I was pulling for them.

A television star and a flight attendant walk into a bar...

Six months after a traumatic event left actress Piper Sheridan confined to her apartment with debilitating panic attacks, she’s determined to start living her life again. Motivated by an upcoming audition, she summons her courage and goes out for a drink, keeping her identity under wraps. It sounds simple enough, but nothing about going out in public is easy for Piper these days. And her hopes of going unnoticed are stymied by the bubbly blonde on the next barstool.

Flight attendant Chloe Carson is only in New York for the night, and she’s only looking for a little casual fun to go with her cocktail. The mysterious woman beside her isn’t fun, exactly…but she’s intriguing. And beautiful. Even without knowing her name, Chloe is drawn to her. When they share an unexpectedly intimate moment, Chloe knows this is a night she’ll never forget.

Can these two strangers turn a chance encounter into something lasting?

Emma Rous - The Perfect Guests review

This was the first book I've read from this author and I enjoyed it! The way in which this story was told was very interesting and I wasn't sure how things would turn. I was sucked into Beth's and Sadie's journeys and while they were happening at different times, they were in the same place and I wondered how things would intersect. I liked how the journeys were told and how they flipped back and forth. Always left on the edge, waiting to see what was to come. When things came to a head, I wasn't expecting this story to take the turn it did. It was unexpected and I couldn't put it down. If you like a good thriller, then this is an interesting one to pick up!

The USA Today bestselling author of The Au Pair returns with another delicious, twisty novel—about a grand estate with many secrets, an orphan caught in a web of lies, and a young woman playing a sinister game.

1988. Beth Soames is fourteen years old when her aunt takes her to stay at Raven Hall, a rambling manor in the isolated East Anglian fens. The Averells, the family who lives there, are warm and welcoming, and Beth becomes fast friends with their daughter, Nina. At times, Beth even feels like she's truly part of the family...until they ask her to help them with a harmless game—and nothing is ever the same.

2019. Sadie Langton is an actress struggling to make ends meet when she lands a well-paying gig to pretend to be a guest at a weekend party. She is sent a suitcase of clothing, a dossier outlining the role she is to play, and instructions. It's strange, but she needs the money, and when she sees the stunning manor she'll be staying at, she figures she’s got nothing to lose.

In person, Raven Hall is even grander than she'd imagined—even with damage from a fire decades before—but the walls seem to have eyes. As day turns to night, Sadie starts to feel that there’s something off about the glamorous guests who arrive, and as the party begins, it becomes chillingly apparent their unseen host is playing games with everyone...including her.
