Erika Kelly - Love Me Like You Do release

Love Me Like You Do by Erika Kelly is now live!

How did the hottest hockey player in the NHL wind up braiding hair and hosting tea parties?

Because someone was foolish enough to name him the co-guardian of their children. That's how.

Cole Montgomery's living his best life—until he gets a call from an attorney letting him know he's been entrusted with the care of two little girls. He can't imagine why anyone would think he was a good role model. He can't even keep a plant alive.

Lingerie designer Hailey Casselton grew up with a free-spirited mother. So, when she finds out she's the temporary co-guardian to two children, she's determined to give them the best Christmas they've ever had. Unfortunately, she has to live with the jerk from high school who ruined her senior year.

But she gets a glimpse of the man behind Cole's larger-than-life persona, and she likes what she sees. He might be used to living for himself, but he works hard to change his ways and meet the needs of these lost and scared girls. It doesn't take long for her to enter dangerous territory—falling for a guy who's never going to settle down.

Except...as much as Cole keeps saying he can't wait to get his freedom back...he can't deny these girls—and okay, even Tallulah—have become the very best part of his life.

And he's not quite sure what to do about that.

Stoni Alexander - Savage review

Woo boy! This book was SO GOOD! I’m a sucker for a second chance romance. Jericho is a no nonsense kind of guy. He’s dependable, trustworthy and cares for his family. He hasn’t had an easy life but he’s the guy you’d want watching your back. Livy’s decision years ago altered the course of their friendship. Now she has a chance at a do-over. I liked the chemistry between Jericho and Livy and I enjoyed the ease of their relationship. They clicked on many levels and they found they worked well together, too! There’s danger lurking in this story and I was hoping the bad guys would be found! Couldn’t put this book down! This book is a must buy!

REVENGE SERVED HARD

My friends call me Jericho. My enemies know me as Reaper.

Ain’t nothin’ more important than family. So, when my baby bro is gunned down in front of me, I go on the hunt to settle the score. Fury drives me forward. Sleep becomes my enemy. I’m out for blood.

I work alone. No spotter. No backup. I get you in my sniperscope, you’re already dead.

But someone hidin’ in the shadows sees what I’m up to. Not good. Then, she inserts herself into my life. Even worse. She’s the last person I want up in my business.

The. Last. Person.

I send her away. Not interested. Wouldn’cha know, she’s got a stubborn streak that’s worse than mine.

Way. Worse.

She makes me a deal I can’t refuse, so I got a partner I never asked for and can’t escape from. We’re together twenty-four seven, takin’ out the scum who shredded my family. Doesn’t help that she’s smokin’ hot, brilliant, and all grown up with a body that does not quit.

I. Am. So. F*cked.

There’s no way this’ll end well… for either one of us. Turns out, I’d rather die with her than live without her.

______________

SAVAGE can be read as a standalone, but Stoni recommends reading DAMAGED and VENGEANCE first since characters repeat across stories.

Marina Adair - Situationship review

I love Marina’s writing! She’s a go-to author for me. I was excited for this book. The characters felt realistic and relatable. Teagan hasn’t had an easy go of it. She’s trying to pull herself up by her bootstraps and keep her kids alive. This story was often laugh out loud funny. The dog, Garbage Disposal was the best! I could definitely see him causing his mayhem. And I loved the way Teagan is thrown back into Colin’s life. First loves can be complicated but so is life. I enjoyed these two together. I wanted things to work out for both of them. This was an endearing read that I couldn’t put down and I can’t recommend enough!

In a California-set witty and modern twist on How Stella Got Her Groove Back, New York Times bestselling author Marina Adair blends the fun of falling in love all over again with a thoughtful and heartfelt exploration of the modern family—and where a situationship can lead. Will appeal to fans of Jill Shalvis, Sophie Kinsella, and modern love stories.

Teagan Bianchi has survived a road trip with rambunctious toddler twins and a large mutt named Garbage Disposal. She clings to a tattered scrap of hope that moving into her late grandmother’s house is the best way to repair her failing business—and the sad shreds of her life—after the man who promised her forever lost everything they had. But she’s barely arrived when she finds herself face to face with her teenage crush, now an irresistible man—who still happens to live next door . . .

Veterinarian Colin West is closer to being an empty nester than a soccer dad. His marriage lasted only long enough to give him his beloved daughter, and he has no regrets. But as she readies for college, Colin contemplates his own future—which is, of course, exactly when his past shows up, as gorgeous as ever, and twice as fascinating. But Teagan torpedoed his plans once before. Is he crazy to consider letting her into his life again? Is Teagan ready to admit what she’s really afraid of? Could this unexpected “situationship” be forever?

Rayvn Salvador - Mea Culpa

MEA CULPA: A Haunted New Orleans novel by Rayvn Salvador is live!

It's easier to forgive someone at fault than to forget.

Larken Maynard knows fear. Though not the kind she's experienced while working as a paranormal investigator on the hit show, Haunted New Orleans. Her terror stems from the sadistic, manipulative group who held her hostage for most of her life. Those who condemned her for her natural-born gifts. The people she barely escaped with her life. And now, they're back. Looking to return her to the fold and control her once again. But Lark won't go down without a fight. And the man who used to be her friend and confidant is in for a rude awakening if he thinks she will.

Kholt Leroy has never really known anything but Balance of Light. They are his family, his friends. The ranch was his childhood home. He always wondered why his best friend disappeared, and he's missed her greatly...for far too long. So, when he runs into her again, he's thrilled. Unfortunately, he's unprepared for what he finds. She's not the person he remembers, and the stories she tells flips his entire world on its axis. Now, he must decide between the woman he has always cared about and the only family he's ever known.

My Review

I was excited to get Lark's story! I knew it would be intense, but I didn't realize how much! I enjoyed how Lark and Kholt reconnected. I was rooting for these two! Some things about this book were very surprising while others were an easy one to see coming. I liked the mix of the unexpected and I couldn’t put this book down! While the show was still a focus, this book mainly focused on Lark’s life. I loved the family she had created on her own and the tightness of the group. I didn’t want this book to end and when can I watch Haunted New Orleans on tv?! Go grab your copy now!

His partner's most trusted informant is his only hope...and his only weakness.

My Review

I LOVED this book! I didn't want to put it down, but of course, life happens and I had to. BUT if I had my choice, I would have pushed work and everything else off just to stay in Liam and Carmen's world! I liked the push/pull between these characters! I enjoyed their professional relationship morph and seeing their personal relationship grow. They are brought together to bring down bad guys, but the chemistry between them is HAWT! Carmen hasn't had an easy life and she soon discovers Liam has had his own trials in life. But they balance each other out and I ADORED them! I liked the way in which the reader knows who the bad guys are and the characters have yet to discover things. I highly recommend this book and it is truly a standalone so don't be afraid to grab it if you haven't read the other books in the series. You will want to go back though! :)

Katana Collins - Shortcake review

Ohhhh man!!!! I finished this book and my heart is bursting! I loved this book so, so much! Conrad is very much a cinnamon roll. He doesn't let many people in, but when he does, he takes care of them. He's the protector of Harper and had been taking care of his mother until her passing. Life unexpectedly threw Addy into his world and she made an impact. And when Addy and Conrad have a true chance at love, there is an ease to them. They understand one another and Addy is the type of person who looks out for others. So Harper is swept into Addy's world too and she genuinely cared for her. I couldn't read this book fast enough. I was left with a book hangover of epic proportions and cannot recommend this book enough! Please don't let this book pass you by!

That awkward moment when your one-night stand is the new sheriff in town...

And he's here to arrest you.

Yep. A reformed bad girl should never fall into bed with a cop.

Conrad Meyer is everything I’ve always tried to avoid. A know-it-all, grumpy, goody-two-shoes with piercing eyes and a distractingly sexy body.

And to top it all off? He's a
cop.

As the resident ‘party girl,’ I gravitate more to tattooed bad boys on motorcycles than clean cut, single-dads in squad cars.

Unfortunately, Conrad isn’t
only the new sheriff… he’s also my new landlord.

Despite this, I have every intention to keep my distance.

However, fate has other ideas when faulty wiring causes an electrical fire and I have no choice but to move in with him for a few weeks while my apartment is being repaired.

But when the town stick-in-the-mud kisses me, all I can think about is what’s
beneath those grumpy pants of his…

Fans of Christina Lauren, Meghan Quinn, and Lucy Score will love this steamy and hilarious romantic comedy!

Mickey Miller - The Roommate Arrangement review

Ok, so I was excited to get a new Mickey Miller book! And I have to admit, I didn't realize this book was the 2nd part of a duet. However, I dove into it anyway and I didn't feel lost. I understood things that had happened, but I do want to go back and read The Marriage Arrangement to get the full story! That being said, I was quickly sucked into Skylar’s and Luke's story! Sky is down on her luck and needs a friend. She and Luke haven't seen each other in years and very quickly, it's as if time hasn't passed. Their friendship was easy. I enjoyed their relationship … and the underlying tension. Yes, they had a history but that didn’t need to define them now. Besides, Luke was in a relationship. I did NOT like his significant other though! I wanted things to happen with Skylar! I couldn’t put this book down and Mickey made me feel ALL THE THINGS! I can’t recommend  book enough!

Mickey Miller brings you the stunning conclusion to a sexy duet.

Is it true what they say: if it’s meant to be, it will be?

Lucas:

Eight years ago, I faked a marriage with my best friend.

The arrangement was a ruse, but the feelings I developed were real.

Then we graduated from college, let each other go.

At last, I tried to.

Letting go of Sky was harder than I ever imagined.

It took me a long time, but I finally learned to live without her.

Then, fate intervened.

Eight years later, the girl who got away is back...

And she's my new roommate.

Our new arrangement was supposed to be temporary.

I’m engaged to someone else now. I have a totally new life and I’m happy.

I know she’s off-limits, but it doesn’t matter.

I’m falling in love with Skylar all over again.

And that’s a really big problem.

The Roommate Arrangement is the follow up to The Marriage Arrangement (formerly titled Rock Block). It is a second chance romance and includes a Happily Ever After and concludes this duet.
