Rayvn Salvador - Malum Discordiae review

When knowledge and temptation collide, the fall only needs a forbidden fruit.

Skilled forensics scientist Schuyler Liu never expected her job working for a ghost-hunting show to bring so much peace. Until a grand locale in the Garden District uncovers way more than just rattling pipes and drafty entryways, and she walks away with more than she ever imagined. When chaos morphs to terror, she turns to the one man she knows may be able to help her. They may not see eye-to-eye, given their vastly differing beliefs, but Pax is her touchstone in the maelstrom, and she plans to grab hold with both hands until they find the answers they seek.

Excommunicated priest Paxton "Padre" Chase has felt a pull to the beautiful skeptic since she joined the Haunted New Orleans team. When a sinister presence from a routine investigation follows her home, and the oppression becomes real, Pax vows that he will do everything in his power to help her. But while digging into the house's history to unlock the mysteries of the spirits wreaking havoc, he uncovers more than he ever bargained for. He and Sky have more in common than they ever knew, and the dark forces want to sever those ties—permanently.

My Review

THIS BOOK YOU GUYS!!!!!! If you like paranormal and things that go bump in the night, you need this one! Sky and Padre have a connection that is palpable through the pages. Their romance is sweet and fun. They have a job to do but life has a funny way of throwing people together. But their relationship also made them stronger. I enjoyed how Padre let Sky do her thing and simply wanted to support her. I enjoyed the way this story developed and the way the book held me captivated. It was a little creepy but I couldn't put it down! It felt like I was there and doing the paranormal hunting with this crew! New Orleans is a great setting and as much a part of the story as the people. I do recommend reading Memento Mori first. But hurry! Grab this fantastic book ASAP!

Catherine Bybee - When It Falls Apart review

I really enjoyed this read. I appreciated how realistic this story was. I follow Catherine on social media and know how much life imitates art. Brooke’s life isn’t going as planned. Her dad isn’t doing well and she has decisions she needs to make. Luckily for her, she has a best friend who she can lean on and a new home is found for herself and her dad. Her new home is unexpected but she immediately falls in love with the charm of the building, as well as the family surrounding it. The D’Angelos are a loud, loving bunch. They look out for each other. Brooke is unexpected and the chemistry between her and Luca was palpable. I adored their relationship and how he was there for her and she, him. This story was easy to get lost in and I found myself not wanting to put it down. Do yourself a favor and grab this read today!

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Catherine Bybee comes a bittersweet romance about the power of love in the face of heartbreak and loss.

Brooke Turner has always had a complicated relationship with her father. But when his health takes a turn for the worse, she drops everything to care for him. He’s her dad, after all, and he needs her. What Brooke doesn’t anticipate is the unraveling of her long-term relationship and a cross-country move to San Diego’s Little Italy.

Luca D’Angelo is the oldest of three children and a single father to a young daughter. When his mother rents the top floor of their house to Brooke, he’s angry. Who is this beautiful stranger with no ties to the neighborhood? Can she be trusted in such close proximity to his family?

As Luca learns of Brooke’s difficult journey with her ailing father, his heart softens. And Brooke, who witnesses Luca’s struggle as a single parent, develops feelings for him, too. But when it all falls apart, will love heal their wounded hearts?

Erika Kelly - Anywhere With You review

WOW!! I LOVED this book! Della had been a fan of Van Claybourne's for years. His lyrics got her through hard times and she felt his words. Being into poetry herself, she understood. The closest she had ever come to him was cleaning his vacation home. It was still exciting for her. But a fallen rear view mirror changed the trajectory of her life! This book gave me all the feels and I loved how it flowed. I loved the surprises this book held and I felt the emotions from these characters. HIGHLY recommend this book!

He’s a rock star, and she’s his biggest fan. Dreams come true all the time—why not for her?

For ten years, Della Swanson has swooned over Van Claybourne. His lyrics are deep, sensitive, and speak to her soul. She’s positive if they met, they’d have a true connection. So, when the opportunity to work in his mountain town comes up, she grabs it.

But when six months pass, and she still hasn’t run into him, she knows it’s time to head home and put the silly fantasy to rest. She’s ready to start a new chapter in her life. On her way to the airport, she comes upon a stranded tour bus. With her bedazzled tool kit, she’s able to get the band back on the road, but just before she leaves, the manager offers her a job as a personal assistant. He won’t tell her the name of the artist, but the salary is so impressive she doesn’t hesitate to sign on.

The moment she boards the bus, Della’s stunned to find she’s working for her teen idol. Only, Van’s not what he seems. He’s got major secrets only a handful of people know—and they’re mind-blowing.

The one thing that does turn out to be true: the connection she believed they’d share is real and more powerful than anything she could have imagined.

But will it last? Della’s willing to take the wild ride in order to find out.

About SO NOT MEANT TO BE:

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a fresh take on a romantic comedy classic, When Harry Met Sally. This steamy, laugh-out-loud, enemies to lovers romance is about an annoyingly handsome coworker and the woman who refuses to be charmed by him.

Am I friends with JP Cane?

Ha! That's laughable.

Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons . . . multiple times a day.

So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, twenty-four-seven. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

The man doesn't know what it means to wear a shirt, thrives off protein bars, and you guessed it, moans loud enough for people to believe he's Meg Ryan in a restaurant.

Spoiler Alert: I WON'T be having what he's having.

Tack on his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, and I'm caught staring down the barrel of a seductive temptation that makes it hard for me to sleep at night.

But guess who can control herself? This girl.

Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that JP Cane and I are so not meant to be.

My Review

This book was SO sweet and swoony and I just couldn't get enough! I couldn't read it fast enough and I didn't want it to be over too fast either. I was reading the majority of this book on a flight and I kept interrupting my dad's book as I was cackling in the seat next to him. I couldn't help myself. I was completely lost in this book! This book caught me in the feels! Kelsey and JP are complete opposites. And Kelsey had a preconceived notion as to who JP was. But he worked hard to show her he was more than what she first thought. I loved the banter between them! It felt realistic and Meghan took me through all the emotions as their relationship shifted. I can't recommend this book enough! And if you've read other books from Meghan, there are glimpses of other characters from other books you'll find!

Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock are narrating this sizzling hot, hilarious romance in duet, and they are stunning as JP and Kelsey! SO NOT MEANT TO BE is now available on Audible! Dive into this aural sensation today!

Rebecca Zanetti - Unforgiven review

Ooh yes! I was looking forward to going back to Rebecca's world. Gemma has been on the run. Her life is hard, but not something she can't do. She finds herself teaching at D.C. University and has a semblance of normalcy. I enjoyed how we're given a glimpse into her world and why she's running. And who she's protecting. She doesn't allow herself to get close to people, but suddenly find herself drawn to Jethro. Soon life gets a little scary and she and Jethro and his group of friends are brought together to protect her. I enjoyed the action in this book, the sense of danger and the budding romance. This book had it all and I was completely captured. This is the 5th book of the series and while it can be read as a standalone, I do recommend reading the other books.

Readers of Lisa Jackson and Lucinda Berry will be thrilled by this stunning tale of suspense from a New York Times bestselling author. Even the most exclusive universities can’t out a stalker in the latest in this USA Today bestselling series when a brilliant professor and an ex-Deep Ops agent will have to outwit an obsessive killer.

“Zanetti is a master.” —Kirkus Reviews

Run: Gemma Falls never expected to use her game theory expertise to outrun a killer. But for years, that skill is all that kept her one step ahead of a deadly stalker. When Gemma gets the chance to teach at D.C. University, she hopes she and her young daughter have found a safe harbor. The only flaw is the arrogant philosophy professor who’s always underfoot giving unwanted advice—in his sexy British accent . . .

Hide: Jethro Hanson has blood on his hands. He’s working within ivy-covered university halls now, but he knows that his work with the Deep Ops team and the deadly acts he once committed for the sake of Queen and country place him beyond forgiveness—until he meets Gemma . . .

Seek: Soon, the passion between them stuns them both. But when Jethro discovers a threat is fast overtaking her, he must choose between the redemption he seeks—and releasing the ever-present killer inside . . .
