Stoni Alexander - The Mitus Touch and The Wilde Touch reviews

So, if you are a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, these books are available for you to read!  If not, no worries, but just making sure any KU member knows these are out there :)  I was contacted by the author about these books and honestly, I'm really glad she reached out to me! I would have missed these gems. And I REALLY hope there are more books to come in this series because I'M HOOKED! First up, The Mitus Touch..

First of all, let me just say, I was blown away by this debut book from Stoni Alexander! I was very quickly sucked into Colton and Brigit's world. I enjoyed their banter and the fact that she was a strong woman. She wouldn’t let him run all over her. Except in the bedroom. The chemistry between these two was palpable and yet felt real. They made a great team and worked very well together. I enjoyed watching them balance their work and their personal time. It was a new experience for both of them and they had to find a way. In the midst of their budding relationship, both have something from their past hanging over them. I didn’t want to put the book down as I needed to know how things would turn out. The twists and turns held my attention and I thought Stoni did a great job to keep things hidden from the reader until the right time. She held me captive throughout this read and I HIGHLY recommend this book!

She's desperate for the one man she must avoid at all costs...
Wealth manager Brigit Farnay despises Colton Mitus. And with good reason. He ripped away her family’s company during the most painful time in her life. Forced to work with him, she can’t deny that Colton is gorgeous, brilliant, commanding. And the enemy. Her traitorous body craves his touch every moment of every day. And then she finds out about the erotic games he plays…

Corporate raider Colton Mitus is success and power personified. He demands control in the boardroom and in the bedroom. So he shouldn’t be tempted by the newest member of the Mitus team. But he is. Brigit challenges him and frustrates him, but also quiets the demons that haunt him, especially as she agrees to be drawn into his secret, sinful world.

The most lucrative deal of Colton’s career places Brigit’s family’s company in jeopardy. When old enemies return hell-bent on ruining him, Brigit is the only person who can save him. But she’s been keeping secrets that could destroy everything…

So after reading The Mitus Touch, I was excited to be able to dive right into The Wilde Touch! We saw a glimpse of Alexandra in the first book and I was excited to get to know her. Second chance love story? Yes, please!  Alexandra had a hard, but good childhood thanks to her brother and her mom. They kept things hidden from her and we learn about those things throughout this book. She isn't one to have relationships. So when she finds herself back in DC, she finds a sister club to the one she belonged to in LA. She soon hits it off with a charming, intense man. And let me tell ya, it's H-O-T-T! This is one area of her life she can give up control. The rest of her life isn't going so spectacularly.  Her boss is a total douchebag, she doesn't have many friends and her mother isn't doing well.  She finds herself without a place to stay and her brother's friend and the man she's tried avoiding, Crockett, is there for her.  Soon the chemistry is unavoidable and they can't stay away from each other. I loved their second chance story! Crockett has some things going on in his life that aren't working out so well also and he finds support and strength from Alexandra. She's able to help him in ways neither of them expected. I enjoyed the mystery/suspense happening around them and these two worked well together! I was sucked into their story and devoured this book!  I do recommend reading The Mitus Touch before reading The Wilde Touch

Looks can be deceiving…
Emmy-winning journalist Alexandra Reed returns to the DC area with two goals in mind—care for her ailing mom and steer clear of devastatingly handsome Crockett Wilde. But the man who stole her heart, then broke it, is impossible to avoid. As her life spins out of control, she finds pleasure in her secret escape—a sex-play club. And that’s where things really heat up…

Tech CEO Crockett Wilde is at the top of his game, but beneath his calm surface lies a raging volcano. When he finds the monster who abducted his sister, he’ll unleash a decade of pain. The one person who can subdue his demons—beautiful, headstrong Alexandra—wants nothing to do with him. Yet he’s determined to set the record straight and not let the love of his life get away.

As Alexandra follows a trail of suspicious incidents at the kink club, Crockett seizes the opportunity to prove he’s not the bad guy she believes him to be. Together they unmask an underworld of evil. But their lives change in unimaginable ways the moment she goes missing.

Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen - The Wife Between Us review

OOH BOY! This book was so unique and quite enjoyable! I was enthralled with the characters and the way things were being exposed. I was hooked from page one and I couldn't wait to see what secrets these characters were hiding. I truly wasn't expecting it to unfold the way it did.  I kept being surprised throughout this book and this writing duo did a GREAT job of keeping me on the edge of my seat and wondering what would be exposed next. Now that I know the ending, I'd like to do a re-read of this book and see if there were other things I missed. If you love a good, complex, things-aren't-as-they-seem read, then this is the book for you! I can't tell you too much about this book because it would do you an injustice. But, be prepared not to get anything done as this book will completely consume you and hold on after THE END is read. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.
You will assume you are reading about a jealous ex-wife.
You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement – a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love.
You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle.
Assume nothing.

Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

Read between the lies.

About DIRTY FILTHY FIX:

I like sex. Kinky sex. The kinkier the better.

Every day, it’s all I think about as I serve coffee and hand out business agendas to men who have no idea I’m not the prim, proper girl they think I am.

With a day job as the secretary to one of New York’s most powerful men, Hudson Pierce, I have to keep my double life quiet. As long as I do, it’s not a problem.

Enter: Nathan Sinclair. Tall, dark and handsome doesn’t come close to describing how hot he is. And that’s with his clothes on. But after a dirty, filthy rendezvous, I accept that if we ever see each other again, he’ll walk right by my desk on his way to see my boss without recognizing me.

Only, that’s not what happens. Not the first time I see him after the party. Or the next time. Or the time after that. And as much as I try to stop it, my two worlds are crashing into each other, putting my job and my reputation at risk.

And all I can think about is Nathan Sinclair.

All I can think about is getting just one more dirty, filthy fix.

My Review

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED this book! While it's a novella, I didn't want to read it too fast because I wasn't ready for Trish and Nate's story to be over. Their story was smoking hot! You might not want to read in public because this book is hot AF *WARNING!* Your kindle or book may combust from the heat these two have! đŸ”„
I was quickly sucked into this book and the chemistry between Nate and Trish was palpable. She likes to keep things in tidy little boxes, wants sex to be her way and her terms and doesn't let her kink mix with work. Nate crashes through her walls and turns her life upside down. And Laurelin gets her readers in the FEELS!! I loved them together and I felt Trish's conflicting emotions and her anxiousness. The push and pull is powerful and heady. I just want to wrap myself up in Laurelin's words. I thoroughly enjoyed how this book connected both Hudson and Alayna as well as Donovan into their world! This book was exciting, story line was titillating and the characters had a depth and realness to them that the reader can connect with. Superb story and I'm ready to dive back in to reread it!

About Laurelin Paige:

USA Today and New York Times Bestselling Author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.

        Excerpt :

“I’d like a try.” It was the stranger with the green eyes.

Hot damn.

Of course the night would ramp up right when I announced I was leaving. I looked up at him expectantly, but he didn’t approach. I realized he was waiting for my invitation. He was definitely new. Everyone else knew Miss T was one of the most ready and willing participants in the room—to the point where some tried to take advantage of it. I never needed to issue invitations, but I often needed to reinforce boundaries.

“What are you waiting for, then?” I sat up straighter, ignoring Chuck’s grunt of complaint.

The stranger came forward with slow, swaggering steps. When he reached me, he loosened his bowtie a little before lowering himself to one knee at my side. He placed his arm next to mine on the chair, his fingers barely grazing my skin. Goosebumps sprouted up my forearm all the way to my neck, and he hadn’t even bent in to whisper yet.

And then he did. His breath skated over the shell of my ear, and my heart tripped unexpectedly in my chest.

How long had it been since that had happened from just the feel of someone breathing against me?
“I’m going to kiss you one way or another tonight,” he said, low and with such surety a shiver ran down my spine. “It’s your decision whether it’s now or later.”

So. Not just a voyeur then.

He sat back to study my features. My jaw was slack, and I scanned his expression, searching for a hidden motivation. My body tingled from head to toe. I was used to men—strangers—wanting me. I was used to them approaching me. I was used to them telling me how much they desired me.

Why was this man so different?

Maybe it was because those other men always looked everywhere in the room. When their eyes landed on me, I knew I was just one of many options.

This man…

He’d looked around the room. I’d watched him throughout the night. But nothing had interested him. I could tell by the way he was still wearing his jacket, by the way his eyes were only now beginning to dilate as they stared into mine.

He’d studied the room and decided nothing here had interested him but me.

That was definitely not the kink that usually got me off. That was Cinderella-story kind of kink. The fairytale kink with a happy ending was traditional, but a kink all the same—being chased. Being placed on a gilded pedestal. I never wanted to be somebody’s Only One in the Room. I liked having my own space. I liked being able to disappear when I wanted. I liked not having chains or boundaries. I was turning thirty-five soon. I wasn’t a starry-eyed teenager anymore. I knew what I wanted from life and love and relationships and sex. And it wasn’t a pedestal.

About the Book-2

Savage Final Ebook

They call him a monster.
Pale blue eyes as cold as ice that see right through you.
He’s hard.
He’s damaged.
He’s dangerous.
He lives in a castle fit for a fairy tale, but he’s no prince.
He’s savage.
He’s brutal.
He’s a killer.
By an act of fate, our worlds collide.
They call him a monster, but he is my salvation.

MY REVIEW

OH MY HEAVENS!! THIS BOOK you guys! I was completely enthralled by it and didn't want to put it down. I was consumed by Lizzie and Brochan's journey.  Their story is sweet, sad, sexy, and has ALL THE FEELS! I enjoyed the way the reader is introduced to these characters and we see how their pasts have shaped them to be the people they are today.  You might find some things maddening, but throughout this book, L.A. Fiore makes sure the reader's heart goes out to both Lizzie and Brochan. I enjoyed the twists and the turns this book took. So I'm trying really hard here not to tell you anything and ruin this read for you. Just know you will not want to get anything done if you have to put this book down! I devoured this read and it's one that stayed with me well after I finished THE END. And let's not forget the beautiful graphics found in this book.  And I loved the ease in which the reader knows whose point-of-view the story is being told from as it flips back and forth. I was entranced by this story and couldn't love it more. I HIGHLY recommend this read!

L.A. Fiore is the author of several books including Beautifully Damaged, Collecting the Pieces and His Light in the Dark. Her favorite movie is Star Wars, a love her son shares. They hope to build their own Millennium Falcon one day. She would like to meet the Winchester Boys to thank them for enlightening her on the versatility of salt as not just a food enhancer, but as protection from supernatural threats. And she thinks it would be interesting to be a zombie, to get an idea of what life is like as a brain-addicted fiend so she can be their voice to tell their side of the story. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and kids, their two spoiled cats and their awesome dog.
