Meghan Quinn - Earn Your Extra Credit cover reveal

EARN YOUR EXTRA CREDIT COVER REVEAL!!

Earn Your Extra Credit by Meghan Quinn

Release Date: April 15th

Genre: Contemporary Romance

"She went home with someone else that night?"

Hearing the disbelief from my best friend's mouth makes the events of my failed date sting that much more.

I would like to make it known, I have a lot more swagger than what it seems. I don't normally ask a girl out, have her fail to recognize it's a date, and then give me a high five--as if I'm her wingman--and take off with someone else.

No. Normally I'm the one taking the girl home but with Stella, it's been one failed attempt after another and frankly, I'm done trying.

But thanks to my best friend getting married in Hawaii right before the school year starts, I'm stuck on a tropical island, watching Stella parade around in what she claims is a bathing suit.

Unfortunately, that's not the worst of it, just the tip of the iceberg. Because what I think is going to be a relaxing vacation, avoiding the one girl I can't seem to make it work with, has turned into a spectacle of being recruited as Stella's doting fake fiancĂ© so she can save face with an old "friend" from high school.

Now I'm navigating through purgatory while trying not to get turned on by the way she holds my hand or kisses my jaw. It's all fake, that's what I keep telling myself, even though it feels entirely too real.

J. Kenner - Embrace Me review

I always enjoy going back to Damien and Nikki's lives. And I so enjoyed this one! This was a sweet, feel good read. Nikki is in a good spot in her life, Damien is still protecting his family, but as always, he's so supportive of Nikki and her endeavors. Life is going well and there's another baby on the way! I enjoyed how the readers see into their lives and family. Changes happen, some good, some completely out of left field, but no matter what Nikki and Damien talk things through and they're there for each other when needed. I knew this was a novella, but I'm still greedy and want more! Looking forward to Enchant Me!

Growing up, I never expected to have so much love in my life. My childhood had been a nightmare, but despite our challenges, my life now with Damien and our daughters is nothing short of miraculous. Even better, we have a baby boy on the way, and I’m walking on clouds as I await the big day.

These final weeks should be magical, but when my mother appears on our doorstep with a promise that she has changed and a plea for us to welcome her back into our life, I’m suddenly adrift in a sea of uncertainty. Now, I’m floundering once again, tossed back into the nightmare of my past. And as the whirlpool of memories and fear once again tries to suck me under, I can only hope that Damien’s strength is enough to pull me back again.

Series: Looking to Score

By Kendall Ryan

Release Day: March 30, 2021

About the Book

I never thought I’d see her again.

We shared one hot night together back in college before our paths took us in different directions.

But now, the most brilliant and beautiful woman I’ve ever met is back in my life. And the chemistry I remember? It’s more combustible than ever.

Except…our fling is forbidden and must exist only in secret. Her rules, not mine.

I can’t be her forever. I’m not that guy, and even she knows it.

But I can’t stay away from her either. I’m determined to claim not just her body but her heart, even if that’s the one thing she’s vowed not to give me.

My Review

I just adore Kendall's books and this one was so good to get lost in! Eden and Holt have a past. When Holt appears in Eden's life years later, the past comes roaring back and soon these two find themselves spending a lot of time together. That chemistry never died and soon my kindle was ON FIRE! While this book has heat, it also has heart. Holt was swoony and such a great guy! I wanted things to work out between them. I liked how he supported her and wanted her to succeed. If you're looking for a feel good read, then be sure to grab this book!

K. Bromberg - Hard to Lose review

Hard to Lose by K. Bromberg is now live!

New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, brings you a romance about love, forgiveness, and living every day to the fullest.

I know finding and signing a military vet to the agency is a long shot--but it'll be good press just letting him try out. That's what I tell my family, rather than admit I can't get the letter he wrote us five years ago out of my head.

But what I tell the bartender in his hometown is a lie. I know veterans protect each other. So I pretend to be a graduate student.

Sparks. Flame. Fire. I accidentally got in too deep.

I didn't expect to develop feelings for Gunner Camden.

And there's no way I can admit to my lies now, not without destroying what we share. So I'll keep faking it.

***

There are two versions of me: before, and after deployment.

Back then I was a screwup kid. I'd lie, cheat, and steal my way out of everything. My only love was baseball.

After I started fighting, I found out there had been another path for me. One that involved my dream. But by then I had seen too much.

The old me was dead, so I put my dreams to rest, too.

Then Chase Kinkade walks into my bar and reminds me that life is meant to live. No regrets.

Fresh. Happy. Hopeful. I can start to see a new dream, with her.

But sometimes things are too good to be true... and dishonesty is the one thing I can't forgive.

My Review

Wow! This book was AMAZING. It was seriously captivating and I didn't want to leave Chase's and Gunner's world! She was the sister that had goals and didn't let one best her. The letter that set everything off wasn't going to deter her from her mission. Chase didn't let men or anyone get in her way. She was a love 'em and leave 'em kind of gal and she wasn't sure why this story took such a hold of her but she was bound and determined to try. In walks Gunner. She certainly wasn't expecting such a good guy! Can we say SWOONY?! I adored Gunner! He was a noble man and was trying to right wrongs in his life. As Chase got to know him, she realized he was the real deal. Only things weren't as they seemed. I couldn't read this book fast enough and I was lost in ALL. THE. FEELS.  Please don't let this book pass you by. You won't be disappointed by this FANTASTIC read!

Author: Laura Kaye
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Here’s what you’ll get in Fighting the Fire:

Smart-ass firefighter hero who's also a closet nerd

Kick-ass ER nurse heroine

Frenemies to lovers when she nurses him back to health

Superhero movie marathon fun

Snarky banter for days!

One night is never enough… For firefighter Sean Riddick, Warrior Fight Club keeps the demons of his past at bay, even though it means seeing Daniela England. Her ball-busting sarcasm drives him nuts, and he knows he’s damaged goods anyway, but he can’t help but remember how good they were together that one time. Now he wants to take her to the mats no matter how much they go toe to toe. ER nurse Daniela England has lost so much that she’s vowed never to need anyone again. Fight club helps her beat back her survivor’s guilt, but it means dealing with Riddick. The hot-but-infuriating firefighter is everything she wants to avoid, which is why their one-night stand was a mistake. Now she needs to keep her distance so it doesn’t happen again. But when Dani witnesses Sean’s motorcycle accident, she steps up to help him recover. One on one, they get beneath all the snark and find a connection neither expected. As Sean heals, the sparks between them burst into red-hot passion—and ignite old wounds. Now there are fires all around—and they have to decide which they’ll fight and which they’ll let consume them.

A Note from Laura:

Dear Readers,

I’m so excited to share my new standalone romance, Fighting the Fire! This is the fourth book in my Warrior Fight Club contemporary romance series, which mixes military and sports romance elements to tell the story of an MMA training club which creates a found family for veterans transitioning to civilian life and dealing with their war-borne demons. In Fighting the Fire, Sean and Daniela are two of my favorite characters I've ever written--they're both strong, loyal, snarky, and hiding some pretty deep hurts that in the end make them so perfect for each other. And all that frenemies tension makes the chemistry between them hot AF! I hope you love them as much as I do!

xx Laura Kaye

My Review

I was so excited to get this book and it was totally worth the wait! I was completely lost in ALL. THE. FEELS. and I didn't want this book to end. I enjoyed the banter and the sexual tension between Sean and Daniela. When circumstances arise that throw these friends together, things shift and soon they're acting on that tension. Again. Sean is a strong guy and he's not afraid to go head-to-head with Daniela. They thrive on the back and forth and soon learn they have a lot more in common than they realized. I liked their developing friendship and their budding romance. I was here for it all and I can't recommend this book enough!

Laurelin Paige - Wild Rebel review

I just adore Laurelin's books and I was excited to get a new alpha from her. There is a definite past between Julianna and Cade and let me tell you, reader, I was here for it! I enjoyed how the story is told and the past is brought to light, bit-by-bit. Emotions are strong between these two, whether it's love or hate and the chemistry .... SHEW! Hang on to your seat. This book is sexy, sad, maddening and made me FEEL EVERYTHING!! The past was deeply emotional and something that made Julianna and Cade the people they are today. Was it pretty? Nope. Does it drive them to do something? You'll have to wait and see! I can't recommend this book enough. And I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

We were supposed to run away after graduation.

When she didn't show at our meeting place, I got brave and went after her.

It was a mistake.

I left bloodied and bruised.

I had no choice but to walk away.

Years passed.

I traveled, settled halfway around the world,

made enough money that I didn't have to look back.

But I never got over her.

Then, out of the blue, she calls.

And, what she asks for, the favor that she wants?

I never thought I'd be willing to take a life.

But the truth is, and always has been: I'd do anything for her.

Book one of three in the final trilogy in the Dirty Universe.

Catherine Bybee - Changing the Rules review

I was excited to start a new series from Catherine! And I found myself completely lost in Cooper and Claire's story! I enjoyed the job they were tasked with and how they had to go undercover to find out what was happening to the teenagers in the area. They had different roles and they had to maintain them, even though high school wasn't their life. I enjoyed the bantering between Claire and her friends. I liked seeing her develop the new friendships while they worked the case. She was kind and considerate but she was there to get the job done. The chemistry between her and Cooper could set my kindle on fire, but it was a nice, slow burn. I didn't want this book to end!

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Catherine Bybee comes the steamy first novel in her new adrenaline-fueled Richter series.

As an employee of MacBain Security and Solutions, Claire Kelly can certainly hold her own. Armed with an impressive set of covert skills, she’s more than prepared to tackle any job that comes her way…except one involving Cooper Lockman.

Cooper and Claire used to work together before his feelings for her sent him packing to Europe for six long years. But now he’s back and determined to ignore the still-smoldering heat that lingers between them.

Their current mission: go undercover together at a California high school to root out the mastermind behind a prostitution ring targeting young girls. The closer they get to the truth and the closer they get to each other, however, the deadlier their task becomes. As Claire and Cooper risk their lives to bring down their target, will their hearts be the final casualties?

ABOUT

“Are you stalking me?”

“We live right next door to each other, New Girl.”

Bay Bishop aka The New Girl is my new neighbor. Glasses, stage crew black clothes and a knack for fading into the background.

She’s probably the only one who rolls her eyes when I walk past instead of cheering on my last touchdown play. But before I can shove her into the recesses of my mind filed under “Not my problem” she lands herself smack dab in the middle of my dreams.

I catch her singing with a voice unlike any I’ve heard before that taps into feelings I shouldn’t have for the girl who avoids me at all costs. I need to know why she hates me.

With three months until graduation, the final play is on. Only it’s not for more points. It’s for Bay.

Unlike my success on the field, this win is anything but assured. But I can’t stop myself from taking the risk.

There’s no flashing scoreboard.

There’s no cheering crowd.

There’s only her and me.

The countdown clock is ticking. The only thing scarier about finding my first love will be losing her.

The Art of Falling for You is the first book in the new Fulton Universe sports romance, Falling trilogy.

My Review

I was excited to start a new series from Maya and this one captured me and didn't let go! Bay is trying to finish high school undetected and not on anyone's radar. But Dare has his eyes on her. The sexual tension between them is strong! Dare knows he has something different with Bay, so he's different with her. I enjoyed the push/pull between them. I liked how Bay let him in little by little. And while Dare was mostly closed off to everyone, he started letting her in. His home life wasn't great and it wasn't something he was willing to talk about. But Bay was there for him when he needed. I need the next book, STAT! I need to find out how life lead them to where they are now and what happens next. I have so many things that need answers! And I really enjoyed getting sucked into their lives!

EXCERPT

He wanted to pretend he was a nice guy now? I ran through my first day at Greenwood Senior High. The vivid details craved an excruciatingly clear memory of just the kind of guy he was. Even if he didn’t remember, I certainly did.

If only that had been the end of it. But it wasn’t. He was back that afternoon and mom insisted I take him a glass of lemonade.

I kicked his leg and he slid out with grease marks on his cheeks and hands that only made him hotter.

The universe’s unfairness had never been clearer than Dare looking like a cover model wheeling out from under my mom’s junker of a car. If I’d had a team of stylists and beauty professionals dress me and do my makeup, I’d never be more than catalog cute. He was super-model searing without even trying.

“From my mom.” I shoved the glass toward him.

“It’s not from you? Did you make it yourself?” He set the wrench down on the concrete and drew his knees up, resting his back against the side panel of the car. His gaze locked onto mine, holding it and not letting me look away.

My pulse pounded, and my stomach back flipped into next week. “Just take it.”

“Did you poison it?” He lifted an eyebrow.

“Yes, I dropped in one of my cyanide capsules that I keep on hand for annoying neighbors.”

He didn’t say a word, only let me stand there with my arm extended, not making a move to take the glass.

My hand shook. I jerked it back and took a sip. “See, not poisoned.” I took a step closer and held it out again.

His gray eyes twinkled with amusement. He shot up, so his body brushed against mine on the way up, not trying to make room at all for my personal space. His fingers curled over mine before he pulled the glass from my grasp.

Instead of drinking from the side of glass closest to him, he turned it in his hold and took a sip from my side of the glass. My lip prints melted away by his. He didn’t drop his gaze or look away.

He froze me in my tracks like a deer caught in headlights after a long night in the forest.

“Delicious.”

My Review

This was a fun book to get lost in! Delia is quirky and she's used to people thinking that about her. But she discovers something nefarious going on and soon her crush and best friend's brother has to watch her back! Matteo is focused on his job, not on women. But Delia gets under his skin and he starts seeing her differently and thinking about her. I enjoyed the threat lurking around her and how it affected Matteo. Yes, there was danger, but he was protective. The chemistry between them explosive and things were just right! I liked the twists and turns this book held and I couldn't wait to find out what was really happening. This book had the right amount of romance with the danger/mystery that was happening around Matteo and Delia. Be sure not to let this book pass you by!

My Review

I was excited to get the opportunity to read and review this book! Sabra has had a lifetime of hurt and is doing the best to move on with her life. She's coping in a way she knows how. Trevor is someone she trusts and finally feels ready to move forward with. Her past comes back to taunt her and she must figure out how to live her life. The sign of a good author is one who can evoke emotions in a reader and that she did! It was intense and I couldn't wait to see how things would go.

Excerpt from USED:

“So, that’s rule one. What do you think?”

I shake my head and snap out of my reverie. “What?” I inch my way toward him and place my hand on his thigh. “I’m sorry. I got distracted. Tell me again.” Trevor’s jaw tightens. His eyes shift toward my hand.

“You got distracted? I’m telling you the rules to our relationship, and you got distracted? How is that even possible?”

“I started thinking about last night and your lips on me. And that made me start thinking about your lips on me again. And that made me think about your hands on me. And that made me think about everything else on me.” Trevor stares at me with his mouth hanging open.

“I swear, you never cease to surprise me, Sabra.” He grabs my hand and pulls me toward his chest. After a few moments, he uses his finger to gently lift my chin and brush his lips over mine. “Screw the rules. We’ll just wing it.” I smell his minty breath as he moves down my jaw with those magical lips and across my collarbone. Trevor’s fingers grasp the edge of my shirt. All I can think about is that same breath and those same lips scorching my skin again.

I’m losing myself in his touch. His kisses. The sweet words he’s whispering into my ear. I’m lost in him. And then my phone rings, blasting through the room. Shaking us out of the moment. Trevor pulls back to look over his shoulder at the intruder.

You have got to be kidding me. How is it possible the entire world seems to be calling me this early?

I glance at the phone sitting on the coffee table beside us and realize I don’t recognize the number. “I’m sorry. I have to answer this.” Trevor grabs my hand and settles it on his lap. I can feel how much he doesn’t want me to answer it.

“Are you sure it can’t wait, Say?” He smiles his crooked grin and cocks his head to the side. “Can’t they leave a voicemail, and you call them back?”

“It could be my agent. I had that audition yesterday. I just need a second.”

“Fine. I’ll go get a donut hole.” He grins and stands. “And then I’m coming back for yours.”

Ew, gross.” I snatch my phone and slide my finger across the screen, rolling my eyes at him as he walks into the kitchen laughing. “Hello?”

“Hello, Sabra. How are you, sis?”

*****

No. No. Nooooo…NO. This can’t be happening. I yank the phone away from my ear and stare at it. Absolutely not. The air feels thin. My lungs feel like they’re about to burst.

“Sabra? What is it?” Trevor stares at me with this look on his face, like he thinks I’m crazy.

Did I say that out loud?

I hit the end button and get up, pacing from one side of my extremely small living room to the other. This is a nightmare. No. It has to be a wrong number. He’s in prison. There’s a chant happening in my head.

He’s in prison. He’s in prison. He’s in prison.

“Sabra.” I flinch as Trevor touches my arm and instinctively move away.

“Don’t touch me.” The hurt in his eyes is obvious. So deep. I might as well have slapped him. And I don’t care. “Don’t. Touch. Me.” I growl it at him.

He’s in prison. He’s in prison. He’s in prison.

“Sabra, what the hell is going on? What happened?” Trevor paces a step away and turns to look at me. “Who was that?”

“No one. A wrong number. No one at all.”

But I know it wasn’t. He’ll call back. Come back for more. He always comes back for more. Dammit. How is he coming back for more?

He’s in prison. He’s in prison.

I feel Trevor’s heat before I realize he’s next to me. “I don’t believe that. It was someone.” He grabs me by the upper arms and shifts me back against the wall. “You’re shaking and white as a sheet. What’s going on? Who the hell was that?”

I’m shaking?

He’s in prison. He’s in prison.

Wait. My mom called…

And I realize why she was calling so early. Dammit. Everything clicks into place. Tremors course through my body. I can’t control them. The chant changes in my head.

He’s out. He’s out. Oh my god, he’s out. I. Can’t. Breathe.
