Even more of a shock? Sloane wants me to visit her and meet her new fiancé. Curious, I decide

to take her up on the offer.

I should’ve known something was wrong when she wouldn’t tell me where I’d be going. I

in hell I could’ve ever guessed what would happen when I finally meet her fiancĂ©.

Declan O’Donnell.

Head of the Irish Mob.

Target of a savage Bratva assassin who wants revenge for the murder of his brother.

Now, I’m thousands of miles from home, I’m smack in the middle of a mafia war, and I’ve got a

My Review

Whew boy! Laurelin certainly took us on a wild ride with this series. I was excited to get the final installment to Jolie's and Cade's story. This book was deep, serious emotions and thoughts back to the past. It was heavy, but also uplifting. Laurelin was still able to surprise me with twists I didn't see coming and I wanted it all! My heart went out to them for all they had been through, but both Jolie and Cade were stronger for what happened. This was a beautiful story and I couldn't put it down. If you haven't started the series, now is the time! And if you have, it's a great conclusion! Laurelin did not disappoint! Grab your copy now.

Rachel Higginson - Decisions We Make After Midnight review

WOW!! This is a definite, not-to-be-missed read! It was all consuming and I was COMPLETELY lost in ALL. THE. FEELS! I was here for Lola's journey and her finding herself again. She had been completely consumed by her family and the family business and lost herself for a bit. But her best friend Reese had her back and was there for her when she needed a friend the most. I enjoyed their friendship and the support Lo had. I enjoyed the banter between the English siblings and the support they gave one another. But most of all, I enjoyed the tension and the chemistry between Will and Lo. Whew! It was intense, thick and I couldn't get enough. Life has a funny way of bringing people together and this book was SO GREAT! I can't recommend it enough! Go grab your copy today!

Lola Ellis has a picture-perfect life. Until she doesn’t.

Successful, engaged to the man of her dreams, and focused. Until suddenly she’s questioning her position in the family company, her fiancĂ©’s fidelity, and everything she thought she knew about life.

On her way to Florida to open a new branch of the family business and meet her fiancĂ© Owen, she unexpectedly detours to visit her best friend in Durham, North Carolina. What was meant to be a week of rest and relaxation as she gets her mind right stretches into a permanent TBD. She can’t face the future waiting for her in Destin, Florida. And the longer she stays in Durham, the less she wants to.

Will English is an uptight, arrogant bartender who keeps scaring away waitresses. Too busy micromanaging his co-owning siblings, his patience is thin when it comes to the rest of the business. When Lola takes a job at his bar to fill her time while she decides what to do about the mess her life has suddenly become, he decides not to engage with the clearly underqualified new waitress. She’s clumsy, clueless, and costing him too much money every time she gives away another round of drinks because she’s messed up again. And yet… there’s something about her that keeps him from dismissing her.

Together, after the bar closes every night, they forge a friendship that doesn’t fit into either of their lives. Lola’s stay in Durham is only temporary. And Will’s roots in the city are deeply established. A relationship doesn’t make sense. But sometime after midnight one night… they decide they don’t care.

Kelly Elliott - Fated Hearts review

OH.MY.HEAVENS. I simply ADORED this book! I was lost in the feels and in the uniqueness of this story! Annalise and Roger were destined to meet. Once the shock wore off, things looked a little different. Doable. They were both adults.... sharing a room wasn't the worse thing that could happen. The attraction was immediate and the chemistry palpable. What started out as a horrible experience, soon morphed into so. much. more.  I loved seeing the various stages of their relationship. Annalise was unlike anyone Roger had ever met. My heart went out to him and what he had gone through in his past. I was totally lost in their journey and couldn't read this book fast enough! Don't let this sweet read pass you by!

It was only meant to be a short trip—up to Chicago for two days and then back to Texas. At least, that was the plan until a massive snowstorm leaves me trapped in Chicago at a local hotel with no definite timeframe of when I can go back home. If that wasn’t a crazy-enough turn of events—I wake up to a beautiful princess standing in my hotel room.

She was definitely a sight to behold, but she’s not the least bit thrilled to see me—think Momma Bear finding Goldilocks lying in her bed type of annoyance.

You see, my princess turned out to be a tired and angry traveler who had been double-booked…in my hotel room. With no rooms left anywhere in the city, we are forced to bunk together to ride out the storm. Now all that’s left to determine is will we survive each other.

After a rocky start and some much-needed rest, Annalise and I soon forge a friendship that turns into a no-strings-attached fling.

When the fairytale we got lost in melts away, we have an even bigger storm to weather that we never saw coming. The one where I’m faced with the uncertainty of having to walk away from the one woman who has opened a part of my heart I had thought was as frozen over as the city we found each other in.

Fated Hearts is a stand-alone novel and the last book in the Southern Bride series.

Lia Louis - Eight Perfect Hours review

I wanted to LOVE this story, but for some reason I just didn't. It just never really grabbed me. I felt for Noelle and her situation. She had something happen to her that was out of her control and completely affected her life. Sam was a bright spot in her world. She felt inexplicably attracted to him after such a short period of time. Alas, life keeps moving forward and yet, Sam was never very far away. I did enjoy how their paths kept crossing and twists were unveiled to the reader. It was a cute read.

In this romantic and heartwarming novel, two strangers meet in chance circumstances during a blizzard and spend one perfect evening together, thinking they’ll never see each other again. But fate seems to have different plans. From the acclaimed author of the “swoon-worthy…rom-com” (The Washington Post) Dear Emmie Blue.

On a snowy evening in March, thirty-something Noelle Butterby is on her way back from an event at her old college when disaster strikes. With a blizzard closing off roads, she finds herself stranded, alone in her car, without food, drink, or a working charger for her phone.

All seems lost until Sam Attwood, a handsome American stranger also trapped in a nearby car, knocks on her window and offers assistance. What follows is eight perfect hours together, until morning arrives and the roads finally clear. The two strangers part, positive they’ll never see each other again but fate, it seems, has a different plan. As the two keep serendipitously bumping into one another, they begin to realize that perhaps there truly is no such thing as coincidence.

With plenty of charming twists and turns and Lia Louis’s “bold, standout voice” (Gillian McAllister, author of The Good Sister), Eight Perfect Hours is a gorgeously crafted novel that will make you believe in the power of fate.

Annie Dyer - The Wedding Agreement review

Omg! This was my first book from Annie but definitely not the last! I ADORED this book and was completely in the FEELS. I love a good fake fiancé and Imogen and Noah were so great for each other! I loved how the arrangement took the pressure off these two. They were able to just be with each other. They had a past, but they had the special chance to get to know each other as adults. They didn't want to change the other person and melded their lives together. While things started out professional, it soon began to shift. And it was a delicious slide into more. I couldn't read this book fast enough and even days later, this book is still hanging with me. I can't recommend this book enough!

Her heart is not up for negotiation…

Noah Soames needed to get married, only there was one small problem – he didn’t have a suitable contender to be his wife.

Until a few glasses of red wine later, and I’d volunteered for the position. He was charming, wealthy and panty-melting gorgeous, which meant that this small favour should be no problem.

Shouldn’t it?

A twelve-month deal and we’d separate as friends, nothing messy, no tangled emotions and definitely no difficult divorce settlements. I could find out if married life was better than my single, career-focused one, and see if I was really missing out, and at the same time put an end to the horrendous blind dates my friends kept setting me up on.

It’s the perfect solution. Isn't it?

It should be. Until my heart gets involved, and I have to decide whether it’s time to re-negotiate the terms of our agreement.

But will Noah sign on the dotted line?

KG Fletcher - Love’s Refrain review

Phillip and Kat! Their story was very unique and interesting. I was cheering for these two. I enjoyed how this book weaved in between present day and the past. Their love was intense and sweet. I don't want to say too much and give this beautiful story away. I wasn’t sure how things would work out but KG held me captivated and I couldn’t read fast enough. And know that I can't wait to get my hands on Love's Reverie!

A magical Time Travel Romance, inspired by the cult classic, Somewhere In Time, sweeps readers from 1947 and beyond.

Present Day, Katherine ‘Kat’ Monroe, a celebrated jazz singer, is just ending her first national tour when she meets an elderly stranger who gifts her a locket with a mysterious message tucked inside. Through a series of events, Kat stumbles upon a strange portal in the theater and is suddenly transported to the postwar community of her beloved town…1947.

Kat is thrust into the intrigues of a world that threatens her career and may break her heart. Navigating her way amid risk, passion, and jealousy, she learns her only chance of understanding what has happened lies in Phillip Gordon, a handsome young pianist. What begins in curiosity becomes an urgent need. Kat finds herself torn between two very different versions of Phillip, in two contrasting worlds, one of whom will have to die before the other can fully live again.

Love’s Refrain is Book One in The Stardust Duet - a melodic tale about a man’s devotion, the woman tempting fate to save him, and a bond that transcends time itself.

If you love sizzling romance, edge-of-your-seat action, time travel, a swoon-worthy hero, and a talented heroine in a small town setting, you’ll love KG Fletcher’s dramatic time travel romance books. Each is a standalone with a guaranteed HEA, but an interconnected narrative. Best if read in order.

Helena Hunting - When Sparks Fly review

Oh man! What a great book to get lost in! Avery and Declan have been friends for years. And they do a lot together. But when Avery has an accident, Declan steps up to the task and takes care of her, especially since they're roommates and having his help means she doesn't have to leave home. Avery and her sisters' jobs and personal lives intertwine. But this accident highlights how much love Avery puts into her job and the work her sisters have to do to keep things running. Family dynamics are always interesting and I'm glad Avery had their support. The support from Declan was another beast! Suddenly, things step over that imaginary line. I loved the friendship between these two and watching this morph into something else. There are hurdles they have to overcome but I enjoyed how realistic their relationship was and the process to get back to where they needed to be. I couldn't read this book fast enough and DEFINITELY recommend!

Charming, hilarious, and emotional...When Sparks Fly is Helena Hunting at her very best!

Avery Spark is living her best life. Between her friends, her sisters, and Spark House, the event hotel her family owns, she doesn’t have much time for anything else, especially relationships. She’d rather hang out with her best friend and roommate, Declan McCormick, than deal with the dating scene. But everything changes when she is in a car accident and needs someone to care for her as she heals.

Declan avoids relationships, giving him a playboy reputation that he lives up to when he puts a one-night stand ahead of a promise he made to Avery. While he may not have been the one driving the car, he feels responsible for Avery’s injuries and is determined to make it up to her by stepping into the role of caretaker.

Little did they know that the more time they spend in compromising positions, the attraction they’ve been refusing to acknowledge becomes impossible to ignore. When they finally give in to the spark between them, neither is prepared for the consequences. Their love is fragile and all it will take is a blow from the past to shatter it all.

Liane Moriarty - Apples Never Fall review

OH MY GOSH! What a tangled web we weave. Just when I thought this book couldn't have any more twists, I WAS WRONG!! This was a really long listen so it took me some time to finish listening, but it was a CAPTIVATING read! I was quickly sucked in to the Delaney family's world. Each family member was living their own life, but yet things still had happened to and or because of them and secrets they may or may not be harboring. I was transfixed by these siblings and parents. I liked how this story weaved between now and what happened in the past. Liane did a great job of holding me captive and opening my eyes to these family members. I couldn't believe some things that were unveiled and others had me gasping. I can't recommend this book enough! Give yourself a listen, or read it, but either way, I don't think you will be disappointed.

From Liane Moriarty, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, comes Apples Never Fall, a novel that looks at marriage, siblings, and how the people we love the most can hurt us the deepest.

The Delaney family love one another dearly—it’s just that sometimes they want to murder each other . . .

If your mother was missing, would you tell the police? Even if the most obvious suspect was your father?

This is the dilemma facing the four grown Delaney siblings.

The Delaneys are fixtures in their community. The parents, Stan and Joy, are the envy of all of their friends. They’re killers on the tennis court, and off it their chemistry is palpable. But after fifty years of marriage, they’ve finally sold their famed tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. So why are Stan and Joy so miserable?

The four Delaney children—Amy, Logan, Troy, and Brooke—were tennis stars in their own right, yet as their father will tell you, none of them had what it took to go all the way. But that’s okay, now that they’re all successful grown-ups and there is the wonderful possibility of grandchildren on the horizon.

One night a stranger named Savannah knocks on Stan and Joy’s door, bleeding after a fight with her boyfriend. The Delaneys are more than happy to give her the small kindness she sorely needs. If only that was all she wanted.

Later, when Joy goes missing, and Savannah is nowhere to be found, the police question the one person who remains: Stan. But for someone who claims to be innocent, he, like many spouses, seems to have a lot to hide. Two of the Delaney children think their father is innocent, two are not so sure—but as the two sides square off against each other in perhaps their biggest match ever, all of the Delaneys will start to reexamine their shared family history in a very new light.
