Laurelin Paige - Dirty Filthy Billionaire review

WHEW BOY! Talk about hot! This book is very steamy and the title is a correct one! *Fans self* Simone is Donovan Kincaid’s personal assistant and she is a stellar employee. She is efficient and keeps her mouth shut. She has one little vice; she attends various charity dinners! This cracked me up but I liked Simone’s style. Steele is a Sebastian. Enough said! Now, if you aren’t familiar with the Sebastians, these men tend to get what they want. One night and an unexpected meeting brings these two together. And Steele brings the heat! He is drawn to Simone and she can’t resist him either. This book was fast paced and I was here for it! I couldn’t put it down and I highly recommend!

Laurelin Paige - Brutal Billionaire review

OH. MY. GOSH.  SERIOUSLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Ya'll!  This book!  Laurelin KILLED it! She brought the heat, the heart, and all the alphaness! OH MY. *fans self* Holt Sebastian knows where he stands in life and isn't afraid to get what he wants. The tension between Holt and Brystin is something else! You see, Brystin is an ambitious, highly motivated newscaster and strives for more. Her husband is a means to that. But she's never encountered anyone like Holt Sebastian. I hung on to every word, every action of this book. I was completely enthralled and I couldn't put this book down. Holt is not like other men Laurelin has written and I was HERE FOR IT! I dont want to ruin this read for you, as I think you should go in blind, but just know if you like an alphahole, you'll LOVE Holt. Grab your copy now!

He’ll get what he wants—even if I’m already taken.

Holt Sebastian is royalty in our world.

As CEO of the Sebastian News Corp, he’s the man with all the power. The man who decides if I’ll always just be a local television anchor or if I’ll be the rising star of my own show.

I make it my mission to be noticed. Make him see my potential. But soon, it's clear he's the one in charge.

His possessiveness is brutal.

His eyes own everything they touch. I feel his gaze on me when he's in the room. The heat of them as they rake down my body, taking me in, marking me as his. He doesn’t just want me on the screen—he wants me in his bed.

And Holt Sebastian gets what he wants.

No one will stop him, no one will get in his way.

No one can protect me from his desire.

Not even the man who promised nothing would come between us and his ambition—my husband.

Laurelin Paige delivers a twist on Indecent Proposal in this billionaire workplace standalone romance featuring elements of fake relationship, marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers, and a new alphahole readers will love to hate.

Laurelin Paige - Man For Me review

I was excited for this read! Back into the world of the Sebastians! I enjoyed the friendship between Brett and Eden. They've been friends for years but never ventured into more. Until now. And I was HERE. FOR. IT. I love a good friends to lovers and the chemistry between these two was off the charts! But the angst. Shew. I enjoyed how this book moved quickly and I didn't want it to be over too fast. It felt realistic and I felt for what this couple endured. If you've read Man in Charge, the beginning of this book will feel familiar, but takes off from there. It was fun to get Eden's story and I was cheering them on! Don't let this book pass you by.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Laurelin Paige comes a new story in her Man In Charge series…

Brett Sebastian is the very best kind of friend.

Who else would get me a job at one of the biggest corporations in America?

And hook me up with his uber-rich cousin to boot?

And let me cry on his shoulder every time said cousin blows me off?

Okay, it’s pretty obvious that Brett cares about me in a different way than I do for him, but he seems fine with how things are, and our friendship works.

Until one fateful night when I'm mooning over his cousin, and Brett utters four words that should make me happy for him, should make me relieved, should balance out our uneven relationship:

“I met a girl.”

Suddenly my world is crashing down around me, and I’m forced to ask myself—am I only interested in Brett now that he’s taken?

Or have I been looking at the wrong man all along?

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

My Review

Whew boy! Laurelin certainly took us on a wild ride with this series. I was excited to get the final installment to Jolie's and Cade's story. This book was deep, serious emotions and thoughts back to the past. It was heavy, but also uplifting. Laurelin was still able to surprise me with twists I didn't see coming and I wanted it all! My heart went out to them for all they had been through, but both Jolie and Cade were stronger for what happened. This was a beautiful story and I couldn't put it down. If you haven't started the series, now is the time! And if you have, it's a great conclusion! Laurelin did not disappoint! Grab your copy now.

Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee - Summer Lovin review

I was excited to get the last episode of Chloe's story! We've experienced her highs and her lows and the very interesting guys she has met along the way. Some of which she still considers friends. I wasn't sure how this book would go but I was here for it! I enjoyed the way Chloe's story evolved and how she grew from the past relationships. Things got a little awkward for a minute there, but they got past that little blip. Charlotte's life was changing too, bringing a new life into this world. And that affected Chloe as well. If you haven't met Chloe yet, I highly suggest doing so. I thought this book was a great ending to this series!

My dating season has come to a close, and I’m ready for a Hot Boyfriend Summer…

Almost every single thing in my life has changed over the past year.

New job.

New me.

New knowledge.

Ah, to be young again, with the wisdom I have gained over a year’s worth of dating-as-a-competitive-sport.

If only I’d had just about an inch more before I made my commitment...

Episode six of six in the laugh-out-loud Dating Season series.

Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee - Spring Fever review

We’re back to Chloe’s world in this installment. She’s no longer searching for a new guy but getting settled into the relationship she’s in. But she’s not exclusive. So when a new opportunity arises, she considers it. Life is changing for Chloe and her friends and I’m sad there’s only 1 installment left but I can’t wait to see how things turn out for Chloe! I enjoyed the ups and the downs in this book and THE FEELS! Chloe is growing up and we're (the readers) along for the ride with her.

It’s time for spring cleaning, but I’m not ready to toss Logan yet…

Out with the old, in with the new… a new me, that is. Now that Charlotte’s married, I, too, have decided to be mature. So Logan isn’t Austin--that’s okay. Better than okay. That’s what I’d wanted all along, someone just as kind and loving and--okay, smoking hot--as my roommate. But a kind, loving, smoking hot someone who likes me back.

Logan has basically been all my dreams come true.

If I could stop stressing about work for five whole minutes to appreciate it, I’m sure I would be really happy. Thank God I have Austin to keep me grounded. Literally, because he makes me garden with him now. And maybe it’s just the stress talking, but it kind of seems like he wants to put down roots too. How come no one told me maturity would be this complicated?

Laurelin Paige & Kayti McGee - Winter Bloom review

Another installment of this fun series and I was here for it! I was laughing out loud during this book. I enjoyed the way Logan and Chloe met up! I liked their chemistry and how normal this guy was. FINALLY! Chloe has had some interesting characters but Logan seems like a unicorn. I enjoyed his family, the way he treated Chloe and she could be herself with him. And I definitely did not see this ending coming! WHEW! What a ride! Go grab this book for yourself!

They say winter is coming... and thanks to Logan, I am too.

If the past year has taught me anything, it's that I am an idiot. Between The Incident, the upcoming nuptials, and finding a new place to live, I'm about ready to find a cave to hibernate in. Nearly murdering the lead singer of my favorite local band really should have been on everyone's bingo card.

Their drummer going from medic to love interest was a plot twist I didn't expect.

Logan has all the things I've been looking for--the newness of spring, heat of summer, comfort of fall, and the distraction I'd like. It may not be the traditional third date, but I'm bringing him to my best friend's wedding anyway.

Charlotte's not the only one who can lock a good time down.

Laurelin Paige - Wild War review

WILD WAR (Dirty Wild #2) by Laurelin Paige

Release Date: June 29th

Add to Goodreads:

www.goodreads.com/book/show/57530087-wild-war

As soon as I saw him, it was war.

I thought at first it would be between me and him.

Cade was cold and hard and didn’t want anything to do with the headmaster’s daughter. I was off-limits.

He didn’t need that kind of trouble.

I didn’t need that kind of trouble, either. And since I did my best to avoid any kind of trouble, that should have been the end of it.

But when I saw him, he also saw me.

All of me.

The lonely parts. The dark parts.

The secret parts.

He became my ally.

I lost the battle with myself and fell in love despite the risk.

But the war isn’t over for either of us.

Not as long as my father is alive.

Book two of three in the final trilogy in the Dirty Universe.

My Review

This book is mainly spent in the past and we, the reader, learn about Jolie and Cade's history. We see the environment they grew up in and how their paths crossed. I actually found this book to be maddening and sad. They didn't have a happy, loving family. But what I did like was how Laurelin made me FEEL. I was stuck in their house with them and I understood how bad things were. Despite the bad things, Jolie and Cade care about each other. Oh how he tries to not get pulled in by her, but the tension between them was thick. I enjoyed the push/pull between them. And I wasn't prepared for this ending! Looking forward to Wild Heart!

Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee - Fall Hard review

Fall Hard was a fun read! Chloe likes beards. A LOT. Can't say I blame her! This was a fun and fast read. It's hot in all the right places and Chloe is learning about herself. In many ways. Her friend Charlotte stretches her, even when she doesn't want to hear the things about herself. These dates she finds stretches her as she's discovering what she really wants. But this Mister was found organically and they have fun together. They are VERY similar. There are some hilarious moments that I found myself chuckling out loud. I really enjoyed this episode and look forward to more Chloe.

They say autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go… but I’m keeping Ryan’s beard.

Past Chloe has a lot to answer for. She’s made a number of questionable decisions, but drunkenly turning Ryan down on a dating app? Currently top of my list.

I love fall most of all, but oh my gourd, Ryan’s beard is fast becoming a close second.

Luckily, he’s ready to give me a second chance. We have everything in common, from art to weird history facts to the correct opinions about Titanic. And boy, does he know how to pumpkin spice it up in the bedroom.

We could easily be the cutest new couple in Boulder… if we ever leave his place.

Episode three of six in Dating Season.

Laurelin Paige & Kayti McGee - Summer Rebound review

I was excited to get the next episode in this serial! Chloe's friend chooses her next date. She meets him without knowing what he looks like but she's pleasantly surprised. He's not like the last guy and he's not someone she would have gone for, but she's trying new things. I enjoyed the chemistry between Chloe and Dune. But as things move along, things start to get weird! I found myself laughing out loud at times and I was here for Chloe's journey! I couldn't read this book fast enough and now I wonder, who will she date next!? If you're looking for a lighthearted read, then don't let this book pass you by!

Summer is for throwing caution to the wind, and Dune's a bad boy that lives for danger.

Colorado is heating up, much like my newly re-discovered libido, and I'm hoping like hell that my new blind date's hot, too. Fate ( and my bestie) truly deliver a doozy:

He rides motorcycles.

His tattoos are insanely hot.

The mystery of his life is all but unsolvable.

This good girl is about to get a little bit bolder in search of truth, justice, and a rebellious phase.

Episode two of six in the Dating Season.

Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee - Spring Fling review

This author duo always makes for a fun read and this was no exception! It was a fast read since it's a novella, but I was here for it! Chloe has a crush. And she knows she should get over him. But easier said than done, amirite?! Chloe's friend's Charlotte is trying to push her friend forward and get her out there. The guy she dates is an interesting guy and sometimes I wanted to shake Chloe! (haha) but these authors had me laughing out loud and wanting to know what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed this first installment and can't wait for the next book. It's bound to be juicy with the way this one ends!

They say the best way to get over one man is to get under another one... and another. And another.

I'm on the wrong side of my quarter-life crisis. Dead-end job, lease ending, and single af. It's made all the harder by knowing exactly who the perfect man for me is: my super hot, incredibly kind, and extremely taken friend Austin. What's a girl to do but drown her troubles in pinot and let her bestie open her an account on a dating app?

If there are other men for me out there, I'm determined to find them. Spring is for new beginnings, and Finn's abs are a perfect introduction to dating.

Unless, of course, perfection is as overrated as my new app.

Episode one of six in the Dating Season.

Laurelin Paige - Wild Rebel review

I just adore Laurelin's books and I was excited to get a new alpha from her. There is a definite past between Julianna and Cade and let me tell you, reader, I was here for it! I enjoyed how the story is told and the past is brought to light, bit-by-bit. Emotions are strong between these two, whether it's love or hate and the chemistry .... SHEW! Hang on to your seat. This book is sexy, sad, maddening and made me FEEL EVERYTHING!! The past was deeply emotional and something that made Julianna and Cade the people they are today. Was it pretty? Nope. Does it drive them to do something? You'll have to wait and see! I can't recommend this book enough. And I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

We were supposed to run away after graduation.

When she didn't show at our meeting place, I got brave and went after her.

It was a mistake.

I left bloodied and bruised.

I had no choice but to walk away.

Years passed.

I traveled, settled halfway around the world,

made enough money that I didn't have to look back.

But I never got over her.

Then, out of the blue, she calls.

And, what she asks for, the favor that she wants?

I never thought I'd be willing to take a life.

But the truth is, and always has been: I'd do anything for her.

Book one of three in the final trilogy in the Dirty Universe.

  Blurb

Scott Sebastian is a liar. Fitting, since I'm a liar too. Yet there's no place for me in his glittering world of half-truths. With all our secrets in the open, I should stop trying. What I've learned should send me running far away. I can’t keep pining for a man in love if I’m not the woman he’s in love with. But it's not that easy to escape the Sebastians. I already knew they owned this city. Now I'll find out if they also own their son.

My Review

I was so excited to get the continuation of Tess and Scott's story! This book picks up where Man In Charge left off. My heart was in my throat. I knew Scott had to have an answer but I wasn't expecting other things that came out because of this. What the reader thought they knew, they had no idea. I couldn't read this book fast enough. I liked how Teyana didn't want Tess to stop her life for her, but Tess didn't want Teyana to deal with her worst days by herself. She was family to Tess and she took care of her family. My heart went out to Teyana and her symptoms and how Scott used his place in life to help Tess's closest friend. And I must say I found myself moved when I read the acknowledgements from Laurelin. This woman is amazing. She told Teyana's story in a powerful way, but it was also something very important to her and touches her life. I'm thankful she shared this beautiful story with us. It was a beautiful love story, both romantic and familial. These friends truly cared for each other and the chemistry was alive and well. The emotions felt real and I was lost in this fantastic read!

Laurelin Paige - Man in Charge review

Whew boy! We got a taste of this story in Man On Top, and this continues where that book ended. (And if you haven't read it, that's fine, this book has Man On Top first.) And I was ready for more Scott Sebastian! *fans self* Tessa is completely unprepared for Scott, but the chemistry between them is palpable. Tessa works hard to accomplish the job she came for. And let's just say Scott makes her work for it. ;)

"It's not out of my system, Tessa."

"What's not?"

"You. Not anywhere near."

Whoa. I had to work to keep breathing.

I loved the push/pull between them! Scott wasn't an easy man. And he got what he wanted. And Tessa was it!  They were walking a fine line but the emotions and chemistry had them on a very different path than expected. And then the ending happened. My mouth is hanging open and I need Man in Love soooon! I adored this book and loved how Laurelin wrapped her reader up in the world of the Sebastians. I was completely consumed by this read and didn't want to put the book down! I devoured it and can't recommend it enough! Be sure to grab your copy and get ready!

The Sebastians own this city.

Hell, they own the whole world.

All I want is one little piece of it, a corner that I can call my own.

So when my boss runs away to "find herself", I seize the opportunity and dive head first into the Sebastian's glamorous universe. It's everything I've ever wanted--fast paced and high stakes--and, even though I don't fit in, I'm excellent at faking it.

Until I come face to face with the man in charge, Scott Sebastian, the arrogant, playboy heir with the mind of a devil and the body of a god and a mouth I can't stop thinking about.

He's infuriating. He's a distraction. He's the man who wants me in his bed as much as I want to be there.

And, if I get too close, he'll be the one person who could expose me for what I really am--a fraud.
