C.L. Parker - Getting Rough

This was one of those books that I couldn't get enough of but yet didn't want it to end. I LOVED IT!! This is the 2nd in the series and picked up where the last book left off. 

I enjoyed Cassidy and Shaw. Their banter is fun to watch and I love how Shaw likes the strong willed Cassidy. He doesn't try to change her but knows exactly how to handle her and knows her well enough to know what she needs as well. 

I was worried with the way the last book ended, but here we see Cassidy at home, among family, and Shaw goes after her. They find more than they were looking for and circumstances force them to see what's in front of them. We get a clearer picture as to their pasts and see what makes them the way they are. 

And the ending!!! Whew boy! I somewhat saw it coming toward the very end but I didn't expect the delicious cliffhanger... I cannot wait to read Coming Clean! 

This book is sweet, sexy, sometimes frustrating, and you can't help but cheer for these characters.
