Tara Sue Me- The Collar

This book is a continuation of the Submissive series but instead of focusing on just Abby and Nathaniel, we get to see the story of Dana and Jeff. I was sucked into this book from the get-go. I haven't read the Submissive books in a hot minute (the last book release was back in April) so it was nice to read about Abby and Nathaniel's world again. However, they weren't the focus this time. This book was more about Dena and Jeff. And I really enjoyed getting to see their story!

Dena and Jeff have a past and neither one has let the other go. Life has moved forward but things in Dena's life require Jeff's assistance. The sparks fly and things heat up as these two reconnect. It's bittersweet, sad, smokin' hot and so so sweet! I adored their story and didn't want it to end.

I enjoyed how the story would go from present day, and flip to the past. We were able to see Dena and Jeff's journey as it moved along and also able to understand them and see what had happened in their past that brought them to the place they were currently.  It was a deeper story than I originally expected, but very well done and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

You can read book 1: The Submissive

The New York Times bestselling  author of The Submissive returns with a scintillating new tale about power, danger, and jaw-dropping passion...

Nathaniel and Abby are struggling to navigate the challenging waters of their own relationship, when they get a surprising phone call from their partners in play, Dena and Jeff, who are in need of a helping hand...

Seven years ago, blonde, beautiful lawyer Dena Jenkins was tired of her carefully controlled life. Desperate for something exhilarating to help her escape the pressures of her demanding job and her senator father, she joined a steamy, local BDSM club as a submissive.  There she met brooding Dominant, Jeff.  The attraction between them was undeniable, and, despite Dena's doubts, they couldn't stay away from each other.

Except, as the years have passed, their blazing connection has proven difficult to maintain. Dena and Jeff have a history they'd rather forget, but Dena can't let go of the past, and Jeff is ready to move across the country to give her space. Now, to save their passion, they'll have to rediscover what it means to trust each other- and give themselves to each other completely...
