Colleen Hoover- Ugly Love

I've known about Colleen Hoover for awhile (in fact, I follow her on Facebook and Amazon and I'm subscribed to her Bookworm Box) but sadly, I've never read her books. Until now. Miles and his sad, heartbreaking story; and then there's Tate.

I enjoyed how this story flipped from present time in Tate's perspective to looking back on Miles' life. I was immediately captured by Colleen's writing style and I didn't want to put the book down. The story was very well written and you could feel the characters' emotions as the story went along.

Tate is a busy girl and isn't looking for a relationship. She's new to the city and is trying to get settled. Miles is DEFINITELY not looking for anybody or anyone, yet Tate gets to him. They both go in with eyes wide open and it's just sex. Until Tate sees Miles. But it's not even what she thinks. This story will tug at your heartstrings. Soooo good.

There were some really good times and we, the reader, experienced a really low time. This story was nothing like I expected and I loved each and every word in it. Funny enough, this book has airline pilots and I read this book while flying. That was neat! This is one of those stories that sticks with you long after you're done.

#1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with a new heart-wrenching love story.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.
