I was excited to get a new book from Stoni! And I couldn't read this book fast enough. This was one of those books that I lost sleep over because I simply couldn't stop. One more chapter ... I LOVED the chemistry between Providence and Dakota. It was palpable through the pages and things quickly heated up! I enjoyed their budding relationship and how they seemed to click. The reader knows some things about Providence that Dakota does not. But the reader doesn't know everything! There's danger around them and Providence and Dakota have to work together to find out what's really happening. I liked the way this story progressed and I thought I knew some of what was happening, but let me tell you, I didn't know everything and found myself shocked. Didn't see that coming! If you like a good romance with some nefarious actions happening around the characters and a book that grabs you and doesn't let you go, then be sure not to let this one pass you by!

Oooh boy! I was excited to get this second installment in this series. I'm not a huge paranormal fan, but Kristen Proby knows how to hook a reader and keep them engrossed in magic! This book focuses on Millie and Lucien. Millie is the sister who is most open to her gifts and she encourages her sisters to use theirs as well. Truths are learned and the bad guy is out there. The reader feels the danger lurking, knowing things are imminent. I liked the growing relationship between Millie and Lucien. And I enjoyed how the past was brought to light and the strength of these woman and the family around them! This book held me captivated and I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't believe as things were revealed and was unsure how things would end! This was a nice, spooky Halloweeny read. And I CANNOT wait until the next book to come!

Whew boy! We got a taste of this story in Man On Top, and this continues where that book ended. (And if you haven't read it, that's fine, this book has Man On Top first.) And I was ready for more Scott Sebastian! *fans self* Tessa is completely unprepared for Scott, but the chemistry between them is palpable. Tessa works hard to accomplish the job she came for. And let's just say Scott makes her work for it. ;)

I loved the push/pull between them! Scott wasn't an easy man. And he got what he wanted. And Tessa was it! They were walking a fine line but the emotions and chemistry had them on a very different path than expected. And then the ending happened. My mouth is hanging open and I need Man in Love soooon! I adored this book and loved how Laurelin wrapped her reader up in the world of the Sebastians. I was completely consumed by this read and didn't want to put the book down! But he cared for Tess and watched her back! These two were thick as thieves and they suddenly had to depend on others in their journey. I was completely captivated by Tess's journey, what happened to her when she reached her destination and the prince, Taelon. I was on the edge of my seat and hoping Tess would make it. The nefarious ones in this book incited anger and I was ready to throw my kindle, but Tess was strong and I needed to find out what was next. I was so engrossed, I didn't realize I had reached the end. I found myself tapping the next page and it didn't move!! NOOOOOOOOO! I need more Tessana and Taelon!

Oooh, what an enjoyable read! I must say I don't typically love an insta-love but this book was so believable and I couldn't put it down. Piper is down on her luck. She's in the process of changing her life when she meets Mason. She doesn't have much to offer Mason in terms of a thank you, except her expertise in the kitchen. She wows him with her skills and there is definitely a connection between them. While it seems fast to most people, they just work. However, Piper knows it's fast and she wants to make sure they're making the right decision. But the love between them was strong. I enjoyed going back to Maple Grove and the friends and family around them. This was a sweet holiday read!

This was a fun read! It moved quickly and I was lost in Maddie and Declan's story! Maddie was a patient administrative assistant. Dealing with Declan, she put up with a lot, but yet she still gave him sass. She didn't let him walk all over her. And she was the best assistant he'd ever had! However, when Declan needs a favor, lines start to blur. I liked the tension between them, the push/pull they had was strong! Declan showed pieces of himself to Maddie and she had a hard time saying no. I found myself laughing out loud and also swooning. This was an enjoyable holiday read. Be sure to grab your copy today!

Such a dang good read!!!! I loooooooove Olivia and Nico 🔥 This couple is an unlikely duo. Until they start to get to know each other... These two have an undeniable connection. They come from very different worlds and shouldn’t make sense, but they do. While their first meeting is unconventional, what happens next took me down a path that I didn’t want to walk away from. Nico is dark while Olivia brings light into his world. I FELT all the emotions of this book. RC Boldt took me on a journey and I never wanted their story to end. Fantastic read and I can’t recommend it enough!

Confusion riddles me. I stare at him for a long beat before finding my words. “My parents died in a plane crash years ago.”
“Your freshman year in college, to be exact.” His features harden. “But they weren’t your real folks.”
Horror ekes past my defenses. “What?”
Deep brown eyes holding a slight tinge of gold assess me. “That’s enough talk for now.
Ain’t got time to waste. Need to get you outta here.”
“As I said before, no, thank you.”
His gaze turns glacial. “You don’t understand—”
“I understand just fine! You’re obviously a criminal.” I gesture between him and where Goliath remains standing. “And I want nothing to do with any of this. I pay my taxes. I return my damn shopping cart at the store while the other assholes leave them in the parking lot. I’m not someone who gets involved with people like you!”
He lets my outburst settle in silence. His lips press into a thin, irritated line before he speaks in a low, deceptively subdued voice. “Can’t tell me that fancy professor brain of yours ain’t dyin’ of curiosity ’bout your folks. That you ain’t eager as fuck to find out if your real dad was murdered.”
I flick my eyes to the gun holstered at his side. “How do I know you’re not lying to me?”
“I always follow through on my end.”
“Right,” I say derisively.
His expression turns ferocious. “You questionin’ my word?”
Bravely, I lift my chin while maintaining eye contact. “I’d be stupid not to.”
He stares at me for a long moment. Wordlessly, he pulls his cell phone from his pocket and scrolls through it. When he stops, his eyes flick up to mine, eerily watchful before he turns the screen of the phone my way.
I suck in a sharp breath at the sight of the woman pictured on the screen, shock ricocheting inside me.
“That’s Johanna Santilla. Your mom.”
Oh, my God. OhmyGod. I’ve heard of that name. Hell, anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock has heard of the Santilla drug cartel. They originated in Cuba and began calling Miami home over sixty years ago.
No photos exist of Johanna Santilla—at least none that have hit the internet. Photos of her father, Carlos Santilla, have surfaced since his death, but they’ve often been grainy and slightly pixelated, like the ones featured on Dateline NBC and other true crime television shows.

Those around Ele could also see their connection. And the people around her wanted her to be happy. Ele's life requires strict rules and regulations. Tristan was a carefree kind of guy but they were good for each other! I enjoyed their journey and where life took them. If you enjoy a royal family, then I think you'll like this read!
