However, they were drawn toward each other and couldn't stay away. The princess had locked herself up in her castle, but Seth started to change things for her. *swoon*
I loved how Laurelin made Heather real for the reader. She may have felt high and mighty, but she was only pretending so that she wouldn't get hurt. She didn't want to dwell on her past but her past made her who she was. Seth didn't hide his past and he wanted to help others and show them they could come from nothing and become something. But he never expected Heather. They were delightful to watch and the banter between them was delicious and things soon heated up between them.
