I was rather sad to be reading the last Pierce brothers book but whoa nelly! This book is my new favorite! I love a good second chance love story and Jennifer brought this one in spades. I was quickly lost in Tristan and Sydney's world. They left things unsaid in the past and the feelings are not gone between them. They still fight their attraction and chemistry between each other and are barely cordial toward each other. Then something funny happens to them that opens up communication between them once again. And Sydney is hiding a big secret from Tristan and isn't ready for him to find out just what that is. I ADORED their banter and the chemistry between them. These two had quite the history and the passion never felt the same with anyone else. They were meant to be and meant to reconnect. I was captured by them getting to know each other all over again and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop but I was definitely cheering for them! This book had the feels and such a sweetness about it. I couldn't read it fast enough. I devoured it and HIGHLY recommend this read! Grab your copy now.
