Tracy Wolff - Flawed review

Oh man! I loved Miles and Tori's story! Their journey wasn't an easy one, but they were definitely perfect for each other.

Miles has a hard time not beating himself up for what happened to his sister.  Tori has been Chloe's biggest supporter and there has always been animosity between her and Miles. They have always argued and bickered. but when forced to be under the same roof, things begin to shift.  Tori is at the bottom of the barrel and has nowhere else to go but up.  She's strong, a fighter, but she's human.  Miles begins seeing past her persona and can't help his alpha male coming out when it comes to Tori.

I loved watching the two of them go from frenemies to something so much more! They were real around each other and in her lowest time, Miles was there for Tori and completely supported her.  Spending as much time together as they were, they begin seeing more to the other than just Chloe's brother or best friend.  Miles was sweet and tender and completely endearing.  He's swoon worthy! Watching him take care of Tori and fall for her brought all the feels! Tori was a tough nut to crack. She was trying to change the way people (and her horrible parents) saw her when her world came tumbling down.  And let me tell you, I was ready to throat punch her dad. My heart broke for this poor girl and was glad she had someone there, lending her a hand.  Tori and Miles' chemistry was seriously hot and I wanted them to make it.

I have read all of the previous Ethan Frost novels so these characters weren't new to me but it has been awhile since I was in their world.  Tracy reminded me (and let someone new to the series) know a little history behind them. This story moved quickly and I found myself unable to put the book down.  Highly recommend this read! And get the rest of the books in the series while you're at it!

The bestselling Ethan Frost series introduces a tantalizing new hero—and the broken woman only he can save. Discover why Beth Kery once declared that readers of Tracy Wolff will “fall in love under the spell of a master.”

When Tori Reed loses everything, he sets her free.

I told myself I’d never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe—Ethan Frost’s wife—is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he’s the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all—except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don’t hesitate to cut me off.

But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand.

Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I’m dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he’s the one I’ve been looking for all along.
