Holy feels, Batman! This book was KILLER! It was my first 5 star review of 2017. I wanted to wallow in Kendall's words! I was pulled in from the very beginning; that crazy prologue. I found myself laughing out loud, gasping at what was happening and getting ALL. THE. FEELS. as I wrapped myself up in this book. I enjoyed how the chapters flipped back and forth between their POVs and allowed the reader to really get inside their heads to know what was going on. It allowed for a well rounded understanding and feeling for the characters.
Dr. Cannon Roth. He had both good luck and bad luck when it came to women. He was almost through with med school and he needed a temporary place to stay. Conveniently, his sister's best friend had an empty room available. Paige was his sister's friend growing up. He had the hots for her years ago and time hadn't changed that it seemed. And he's not at all how Paige remembered him. Cannon had definitely grown up! And their chemistry is off the charts. They get to know each other and get into a routine with each other. Suddenly, it's hard for them to stay apart. Things heat up and it's oh-so-good. Until things take a spiral down. But it wouldn't be a great book if life didn't get between them and they had to discover their need for the other. And can I just say: Dr. Cannon Roth, sign me up to be his patient!
