NOT QUITE PERFECT
Not Quite Series, Book Five
Montlake Romance, Contemporary
September 20, 2016, First Edition

With true love, there’s no such thing as a safe distance.

Mary Kildare knows how to read people. It’s both why she makes a great therapist and why she refuses to trust the average bachelor. Staying fiercely independent has been her primary relationship strategy—until wealthy playboy pilot (and commitmentphobe) Glen Fairchild reappears in her life. After a yearlong teasing tug-of-war, Mary and Glen test the waters of attraction, only to find that their physical chemistry runs deeper than flirtation.

At first, a bicoastal romance suits them both—especially since Glen can swoop in and whisk Mary away on one of his company’s planes. But no matter how close they get, they’re still three thousand miles apart. And when Mary’s life is threatened, Glen realizes the one luxury he doesn’t have is time. Can he close the distance between them before it’s too late?

My Review:

This book was so sweet. Ohhhh the feels!!!! Catherine Bybee is the queen of the feels! Her characters are real, the women are sweet and sassy and the men are alpha goodness. And Glen! *Swoon!* He's chivalrous, romantic and a good guy! And he's a pilot to boot! Yes, please.

I love the mystery /drama Catherine's stories hold. Not only is there romance between Mary and Glen, but something happens Mary has to figure out. And it's so maddening! Poor girl. And I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it all to play out. Sleep? Who needs it?! I couldn't go to bed I was so wrapped up in this book.

The story line was fun, scary, sad and quite romantic at times. This book was a good blend and it definitely held my attention. I didn't want to put it down!! I was completely wrapped up in Glen and Mary's budding relationship and their friendships with friends and family in their lives.  Another great book in the series and one not to be missed! Go get your copy today. And? You're welcome!
