But oh my gosh. This book, ya'll! So good! I seriously could not put it down and I was lost in Jade and Kaleb's world immediately. She has had to fight hard to get where she is in life. It's not easy being a female Army Ranger. (Girl power!) And she's definitely not at all prepared for her reaction to her new Commander. And whew boy! Is it hotttt! I'm pretty sure my kindle melted a bit from the heat. "He's consumed me. I came in here with the plan to never let him touch me again, and in literally ten seconds, he has me begging inside. I want him to devour me, and I want to fucking devour him."
The more Kaleb and Jade get to know each other, the sweeter they are. So they may have done things backwards but he obviously cares for her. He knows what she needs and realizes she is a strong woman, but wants to be there for her and wants her to lean on him when necessary. They respect each other in their careers and their chemistry is off the charts! They are a dynamic duo and the reader can't help but get lost in their story. Then the ending happens and you'll just have to hang on for that. But I highly recommend this book!
