She finds herself back and taking clients. Soon, she and Quaid are adversaries. This story was fun to get lost in! I enjoyed the banter between Quaid and Jayna. The chemistry between them was just right and undeniable. They may have had to face each other in court, but that didn’t stop them from seeing what was between them. They had each other’s back. I really enjoyed going back to Papillon and seeing what everyone was up to!

Kerrigan Byrne and Cynthia St. Aubin - Nevermore Bookstore review

This book was a first in a series and it was quirky and cute! I was really intrigued as to who Fox was and what was his story. I liked how Cady was drawn to him and he to her. Their meetup was different and allowed them to be real with each other. Candy’s life was hard and liking Fox was easy. But there were many challenges. I liked this cast of characters and the charming town they lived in. This book sucked me in and I didn’t want to put it down!

Oooh boy! I was so excited to get little boy Blayze's story! I loved him as a kid and couldn't wait to see how life had been to him. This book did not disappoint! Blayze is all grown up and while life wasn't all bad, he had his fair share of bad handed to him. But he was stronger than that but it was still part of his past. It made him the man he was. Georgie had never forgotten about Blayze, but she was focused on becoming a journalist and wanted to do right by the the Shaw family. When her chance arises to tell their story, she is there for it. However, things don't go as planned and there are some choices to be made. But the chemistry and heat between Georgie and Blayze is intense and palpable through the pages! I loved these two together! Yes there's a past between them, but they also realize they are adults and they know what what they want. I couldn't read this book fast enough and I highly recommend this book!

My Review

I was here for this friends to lovers read! I really enjoyed this book and found myself quickly lost in Derek and Jessica's story! Jessica wasn't planning on bidding on Derek at auction, but circumstances changed and soon she found herself the highest bidder. She knew what she needed and that was help with things around her home. Not to mention, a little payback. I liked the push/pull between these characters and they felt realistic! Jessica was a confident woman and she knew what she wanted. Derek didn't need his family weighing in on his love life and wanted to get to know Jessica better, but didn't want anything to come between him and Jessica's brother. I liked the honesty in this book and the openness between them. I couldn't read this book fast enough and I definitely recommend!

Do you ever need a light-hearted, easy to get lost in, read? Then look no further! This book was fast paced and easy to read! I didn't want it to be over. I love a good forced proximity story and this one involves a snowstorm. *Rubs hands together* Oh yeah! I was here for it! Linnie is trying to start a better habit and is detoxing from boys. Weston isn’t having a great day and there’s a problem at his cabin. Neither he or Linnie expect a snowstorm but they’re making the most of it. I loved the banter between them, the inner struggle they found and just passing the time. Do yourself a favor and grab this book right now!

If you have read Man Candy, Barrett is Dax's friend. (Don't worry, you can read this one without reading the other, but reading the connected books is fun!) So I was looking forward to seeing how life was treating him.  I love a good forced proximity and this book did not disappoint! Catarina is out there, doing what she loves and does best and Barrett is trying to get back to a job he does love. Barrett and Catarina are an unlikely duo. But their boss says otherwise! I loved the banter and interactions between them. There is definite chemistry between them and the "dates" they have to go on cause them to get a little closer, even if they don't want to. SWOOOOOOOOOON! I couldn't put this book down! Ollie finds herself in a bind and as her mind scrambles to get her out of the situation, she locks in on Silas. And boy, does she take life by the horns! Soon they find themselves in an agreement and a friendship ensues. I loved how Ollie doesn't hold back; she tells it like it is. She was a breath of fresh air to Silas. But there are demons in his past that hold him back. Sure, Silas has a great group of friends but Ollie holds a special place in his life. The two of them click and try as he might, things begin to shift. I LOVED this story! Meghan does a great job of making me laugh out loud, swoon, and feel ALLLLL the emotions. There are so many great things in this book, but I want you to find them on your own. Please do yourself a favor and grab this book today!
