I was excited to get another glimpse into Damien and Nikki's lives! I enjoyed this look into things we've loved about this couple. It was like getting a behind-the-scenes look into their relationship!  The love between Damien and Nikki is strong and I can't get enough of them. Damien's journals allow the reader to get to know him a little more and see things clearly from his POV. I liked how the chapters were split up into pieces from different books and the journals. This story was told in a unique way and great for fans of this series!

Ooh yes! I love a good J. Kenner novella! I'm greedy and I'll read whatever she brings us readers. Francesca leads a very measured life. And she's the one in control. Until now. There is a threat to her world and the Stark Security team is going to figure out who it is. And while Simon doesn't normally do movie stars, something about Francesca calls to him. He knows he's the best to protect her. I love a good frenemies story! That mutual hate can be oh so delicious! :) Once they put things aside, they start a real friendship. Things quickly morph into more. There's an understanding between them and things heat up very nicely! Simon is a true protector and Francesca sees that. I liked their growing relationship and the search was on for the threat. This book held my attention and I didn't want to put it down! I recommend this fantastic read from J. Kenner!

Whew boy! I was here for this book! I enjoyed the danger lurking and the unknown out there. I liked the way little bits of info were given and the search was on for who was involved and WHY. The chemistry between Brandy and Ronan was palpable. They recognized it as well, even if they didn't act on it. Right away. I enjoyed how he was there for her and wanted to keep her safe, despite whatever was going on between them. Their time together was hot and I couldn't put this book down! What a fun read! I liked going back to The Fix (it's ok if you haven't read Man of the Month series, but I recommend it!) and the Austin area for this read. Skye has to live her life more carefully than most because of her accident. She doesn't like attention on herself or her speech impairment. She is a hard worker and a good employee. While she has a daunting task ahead of her, she realizes she can use a little help. I liked how this book dips into the past to show how things started between Skye and Leo. I liked the chemistry between them and how well they work together. I enjoyed the way he brought her a little more out of her shell. This was a delightful read and I didn't want to put this book down!

I was excited to get Abby's story! She had been receiving unnerving phone calls and it was clear someone had something for her. She was being cautious and due to her Stark connections, she found herself being looked after by her old friend, Renly. Not only did she get to catch up with her friend, but she had the support and safety with him close. This unexpected opportunity provided them the time to reconnect and learn about each other from the last time they had seen each other. The chemistry was still there, simmering between them and soon things heat up! I enjoyed the fact they weren't strangers and that old flame was still there. Renly only had her best interests in mind and was protective of her. I enjoyed the reconnection of Abby and Renly, the lurking danger out there and the fast paced action. This book was a great read and a fun addition to the Stark series.

Ohhh yes! Mr. Devlin Saint is quite the man and I was excited to go back to his world. There is a lot happening in this story and I didn't want to put this book down. There's danger to both Devlin and Ellie, but this time, they're a team and they work together and look out for each other. The danger is always lurking around them and creeping their way. They don't know WHO it is, but because of who Devlin is, they know they have to watch their six. And this only makes them stronger together. I loved their strong bond, the love they have for one another and the support from their friends. The danger was constantly lurking and I wanted to know who and why! I just adored this book!

I always enjoy going back to Damien and Nikki's lives. And I so enjoyed this one! This was a sweet, feel good read. Nikki is in a good spot in her life, Damien is still protecting his family, but as always, he's so supportive of Nikki and her endeavors. Life is going well and there's another baby on the way! I enjoyed how the readers see into their lives and family. Changes happen, some good, some completely out of left field, but no matter what Nikki and Damien talk things through and they're there for each other when needed. I knew this was a novella, but I'm still greedy and want more! Looking forward to Enchant Me!

Growing up, I never expected to have so much love in my life. My childhood had been a nightmare, but despite our challenges, my life now with Damien and our daughters is nothing short of miraculous. Even better, we have a baby boy on the way, and I’m walking on clouds as I await the big day.

Ooh! I was excited to get more Ellie and Devlin! I couldn’t read this book fast enough. Devlin has a past. Some Ellie knows about and others she knows are there but doesn’t know the WHAT. I enjoyed the twisty way in which this story was told and the way the danger circles them. I couldn’t get enough of these two and I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to My Cruel Salvation!

My Review

Julie took me on a ride and I was here for it! Winston is a solid guy. He is pulled away from his everyday life to take care of something for his former boss. This news is something that completely changes everything. I enjoyed the chemistry between Winston and Linda. Can we say explosive!? I felt what these two were feeling. And the element of danger was INTENSE in this book. I didn't know what was going to happen next. This was a fun, sexy and dangerous story. I liked the family and the people around Winston. I was completely captivated!

My Review

Ooh boy! I love getting more Damien and Nikki and this was a fun book to get lost in. I was very quickly sucked into their story. These two try to take time for each other when they can. The romance hasn't ended with marriage and kids. I love seeing where life will take them next! And this book was INTENSE! It was great getting to peek into their lives and go on this adventure with them. I love seeing and feeling the love between them. I couldn't read this book fast enough.

Ooh weee! I love a new series from Julie! And this book grabbed me and didn't want to let go. Devlin Saint. Whew! He's a complex man who has been through a lot. I liked the way Julie tells the reader his story. It's unexpected, different, dark and has made him the man he is today. Ellie has lost a lot in her life. She's back in her hometown for closure. And a story. And she gets more than she bargains for! She's smart, complex and she has to come to terms with what she finds. I was completely entranced with the twists and turns this story took. I didn't want to have to say goodbye to Ellie and Devlin. I loved the chemistry between them and the emotions are deep. Great first book and I can't wait to get my greedy hands on the next book in the trilogy!

My Review

This book was deliciously hot! I enjoyed how Emma and Antonio had similar goals. Neither of them had great upbringings, so it was surprising to them that they had similarities to such horrible things. But, it lead them to their jobs today and the skill set they each had. Antonio needed backup on a mission he was doing. Emma fit that role perfectly. Could it be helped they were going to be in such sexy conditions?! When in Rome ... I enjoyed how this couple pushed each other and understood each other more than most people. They had that immediate connection and chemistry and they were able to mix business with pleasure. I was wrapped up in this story and I loved the element of danger that lurked, as well as the building relationship between them. I didn't want to put this book down! And I'm definitely looking forward to Winston's story next.

J. Kenner - Tease Me review

Jamie and Ryan! I do so love this couple. I was excited to dive into this read. Being a part of J. Kenner's newsletters, I had a glimpse into this story but I knew she turned it into more. And  more is what we get with them. This couple is strong. They are sure of themselves and who they are with each other. While things may trip them up occasionally, they are #goals :) Jamie surprises her husband while he's working away and he's not the only one surprised. Soon, they're both wrapped up in a mystery and there's an air of danger around them. I enjoyed the twists and turns this book had but at the heart of it was the love between them. I couldn't read this book fast enough and if you've also enjoyed Jamie and Ryan, get to reading! If you haven't read them, you must start at the beginning!

Whew boy! I was excited to dive back into the Stark Security series! This time we see the quiet Liam. I was looking forward to his journey. Liam thought he was done assessing danger for popstar Ellie Love, but when he goes back to investigate he finds more than he bargains for. The heat between him and Xena is still there and they're still ignoring it. (You know how that goes!) Liam knows Xena needs his help and he's willing to do whatever it takes. I enjoyed the mystery/danger surrounding Xena and the way in which J. Kenner tells her story. I was completely hooked and didn't want to put this book down! If you like a lot of action and scary dudes getting their comeuppance, be sure not to miss this read!
