Sharon Hamilton - Love Me Tender Love You Hard review

I bought this book because A- I love Marina Adair's Autumn in the Vineyard and B- Sharon Hamilton is such a sweet person and I wanted to support both authors! It's a win for me, too! I loved this book and getting lost in Derek and Remy's world.

Derek was in a dark place after losing his limb and then he received medical leave from the Navy.  He was trying to move on from Remy, but even 60 days away from her, she was still in his head.  (And I loved the random job he got!) Remy was heartbroken after leaving Derek, but she knew it was the right thing for her to do.  So, she was in St. Helena, working on her pastry degree.   I found it interesting that most of the steamy scenes from these two were ones they kept looking back on.  And when they saw each other for the first time, Derek was quite funny.  It totally threw him for a loop and he didn't know what to do.  I enjoyed the banter between them and watching them move on from the past.  It was sweet, endearing and a fast read and I want more! St. Helena Vineyard Series: Love Me Tender, Love You Hard (Kindle Worlds Novella) (Cookin' With SEALs Book 1) by [Hamilton, Sharon]

His leg is the reason he’s off the SEAL Teams, but it’s his heart that hurts the most.

Derek Farley has a lot of time on his hands now, but what he really wants is to get into trouble. If he could just show Remy he didn’t need her he could perhaps walk away a free man. So what else does a bad-ass former Navy SEAL explosives expert do? Enroll in culinary school in St. Helena! He might make a great pastry chef, if he can get that arrow out of his chest.

Remington Bolt is a crack shot at lethally wounding every man who’s ever tried to tie her down. But her almost forever man comes back, stirring up the pot of sweet tasting memories and mouth-watering fantasies. He’s got her oven stoked. If she’s not careful she’ll be dessert.
