Bayou Brides -Author

Amazon Best Selling author and multiple RONE Award Finalist Linda Joyce writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction featuring assertive females and the men who can’t resist them. She lives with her very patient husband in a house in metro-Atlanta run by a fifteen-year-old canine named General Beauregard or “Beau,” who believes they are his pets. Linda’s a closet artist who paints with a brush, yet longs to finger paint…but hates getting her hands messy. She’s addicted to Cajun food and sushi. Linda will deny she only leaves the house once a week and only then to get criticism from two other authors.

Linda lives in Atlanta. She’s a big fan of jazz and blues, and she attributes her love of music to her southern roots, which run deep in Louisiana. Courtesy of her father’s Air Force career, she lived coast to coast in the U.S. and wrote her first manuscript when she was twelve while living in Japan, where her mother was born and raised. During recess, girls lined up on the bleachers, like birds on a wire, and took turns reading and passing pages to the next girl in line.

In addition to being a book addict, Linda loves dogs. She’s a foodie—a fangirl of celebrity chefs, an RVer with a 5er, loves to hike and kayak in spring and summer, binge watch movies in the winter, and when the days cool and the leaves begin to turn in the fall, she’s all smiles over SEC football.

Kelly Elliott - Love Profound review

I write about love, but I’ve never experienced it. Sure, I’ve been with guys that I cared about. Even thought I found ‘the one’. He turned out to be the frog and not the prince.

A few Frank Sinatra songs and a wildly handsome cowboy who calls me Darlin’, will have me second guessing everything I ever thought I knew about love.

Does happily ever after really exist…or is it only something I write about in books?

Love Profound is book two in the Cowboys and Angels series.

 My Review

This is the second book in this series and I loved the first book. But this book? Wow! I was totally captured by Amelia and Wade.  She has written about love, but never experienced it for herself. She didn't expect it to happen to her. She was the looking for fun sort.  THAT she could believe. She saw her parents relationship and her brother Steed's relationship and had a longing but she didn't think it was in the cards for her.  I enjoyed her relationship with her sister, Waylynn. They have a bond and are there for each other. They are on the opposite ends of the spectrum but both are there for each other.
Wade is a new cowboy Trevor hired to help with the ranch. He suspected something might happen between Wade and Amelia, but she didn't.  I enjoyed watching their relationship develop and was sucked into this book and couldn't put it down. It was fun to see her writing career and the little behind the scenes things about being an author and watching her grow in that regard. This book had ALL.THE.FEELS and they experience the ups and downs in life.  Shew. Parts of this book literally took my breath away. I loved this read and HIGHLY recommend it!

J. Kenner - Wicked Dirty review

I LOVED this book!  I was quickly sucked into this story and Sugar's plight. Sugar hasn't had the easiest time and she's received some bad news and needs money NOW! She thinks she knows what she's getting into, but in reality, she has no idea. However, things can happen on her terms and she's the one holding the power.  She's not expecting the man that opens the hotel door.  Lyle hasn't dealt with something in his past very well.  And on this evening, he certainly isn't expecting Sugar. Nor is he expecting the feelings she provokes.  Turns out, he finds himself needing her albeit in a different way, but just as much as she needs him.  What started out as a transaction, turns in to so.much.more.
I loved being wrapped up in the feels in this book! Lyle and Sugar didn't have a traditional start, but they just clicked. I also enjoyed getting little snippets into the Stark world. This book hooked me from the very beginning and didn't let go until The End.  If you like a normal girl with a rising celebrity, I HIGHLY recommend this book.

From New York Times and #1 International bestselling author J. Kenner…

Sometimes bad isn’t good enough…

On the outside, Lyle Tarpin is a clean-cut Hollywood actor whose star is on the rise. Inside, he’s battling his own demons, shunning relationships and finding solace in the arms of a string of anonymous women paid very well for their discretion.

But when he’s photographed in a compromising position by an over-eager reporter, the only way to save his career is to say that the woman he was with is his fiancée. And now Lyle has to play a very public game with the only woman who’s ever managed to get under his skin.

Struggling waitress Sugar Laine agrees to spend one night with Lyle—but only because she’s desperate to save her family home. She never expects that a night of passion will turn into a pretend engagement … or that the heat between them will blossom into love.

But sometimes love has a price.

And now the only question is—can Lyle and Sugar afford to pay it?

All Wicked novels stand alone

For a limited time, enjoy a sneak peek of Royally Endowed! by New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase!

Catherine Bybee - Fool Me Once review

I was sad when the Weekday Brides series was done, but was so excited for this new series from Catherine Bybee! This could not have been a better book! I was completely consumed by it and I devoured it in one sitting.  Yes, I'm a binge reader! And this book was so good that I couldn't put it down if I had tried! I love how Catherine makes the reader feel like she is there with the characters and is exploring the cruise and the many cities right along with them! I don't want to ruin this story for you by giving too much away, but just know you really need to one-click it right now.

First off, I loved how Catherine wove the Weekday Brides ladies into this new book.  While, the reader gets to see them, they specifically aren't the main focus.  Lori works with them and is now on a mission for work, fun and sun on the high seas in the Mediterranean.
The women she is cruising with have been her clients and she mothers them, but just wants them to be able to unwind without the press following them or them sharing too much information with strangers. Even though this group of women is unlikely, they have more in common than they first realize and it allows them to be free among themselves.   They are a good support system for each other when things go haywire.  Trina, Avery, Shannon and Lori form a bond on this trip and have each other's back.

As with other Bybee stories, this one has that underlying threat that you know is there and you can't see or touch it yet.  I enjoyed how she divulged that information scene-by-scene, and the reader knows there's an underlying darkness, but yet not sure what form that will take.  I also enjoyed Reed's presence among the women and I was cheering for him! Not only was he a great match for Lori, but he also kept an eye on them. I also liked how his purpose for being on the cruise wasn't given away right up front.  We had to dive into the story to see more to Reed's background.

I love how realistic Catherine's stories are and she writes in such a way that you feel like you know them and could be friends with them. I think that's why I devoured this book.  I didn't want to walk away from my friends! I loved the twists and the turns and the feels I went through while reading this book. This was a fantastic start to the series and I anxiously await future books! Hats off to Catherine for another amazing book! I HIGHLY recommend it!

**ARC provided for my honest review**

From Weekday Brides to First Wives, a dazzling series about four women and their alliance of newfound friendship, unexpected love, and second chances.

Cynical divorce attorney Lori Cumberland lives by one motto: Love is grand, but divorce is a hundred grand. With one failed marriage under her own personal belt, Lori had fallen hard and early—and it isn’t something she plans on repeating. She’s content focusing on the temporary marriages of her rich and famous clients. When she joins some of her recent divorcées on a celebratory cruise, her only vow is fun, sun, and new friends. But Lori finds herself tempted by a jury of one.

For Reed Barlow, falling into the world of private investigation was easy. He knows the law and knows how to avoid breaking it—all while doing his job. His rule to live by? No emotion, no involvement…until Lori. His charming smile and cocky attitude distracts Lori and lowers her guard, which is exactly what Reed desires.

But what appears as a one-time-only flirtation may be a plot orchestrated by Reed. As he’s taking his investigation to a dangerous level, it’s Lori who could end up in jeopardy. Reed has only one shot for Lori to grant him a second chance. But if he comes clean with her, he blows his cover. And that just might cost him the opportunity for an alliance of family…and of love.
