I really wanted to like this book. Ultimately, I didn’t hate it; I didn’t love it. I don’t think I was prepared for the heaviness of this story. Sarah hasn’t had an easy life. She’s had to fight her mental illness every day. She’s given the opportunity to attend St. Ambrose and life there isn’t all rainbows and sunshine. But this self-proclaimed loner does make a friend. I did enjoy seeing Sarah open up and start a friendship. I also liked how as things progressed, it opened Sarah’s eyes to her mother and changed her opinion of her. This book definitely had some twists I didn’t see coming and I still wanted to know how things ended.

Enter Ethan Townsend. There is an attraction and chemistry between these two. She gets under his skin! Ha! But Ethan is the kind of man who wants to do the right thing. Even if it’s difficult. Darby brings out something in him, but she’s a safe space for him, even if he doesn’t realize it. I enjoyed their interactions and watching Darby pissing him off! I liked the version of him he was with her. They were good for each other and I didn’t want their story to be over!!

This book was so easy to get lost in! I absolutely loved it! I loved going back to Calamity Falls. If you've read other books in this series, you'll see people you know again. If it's new to you, welcome to Calamity! Grace isn't having a great day. She's learned some facts about her soon-to-be husband and cuts ties. Luckily for her, Jamie is able to offer some assistance to her. While Grace is close to her family, it was good for her to be away and take time for herself. The time in Calamity let her spread her wings and find her passion. It was fun watching her grow and do things that truly made her happy. If a grumpy, single dad happened to be nearby, that was an added bonus :) This book had me smiling and lost in ALL THE FEELS! Don't let this fantastic book pass you by. Grab your copy now.

I have two responsibilities as the new heir to the throne:

My Review
So, you really do need to read Royally Not Ready before this book. Ohhhh yes! I was ready to get back to more Lily and Keller! I couldn't wait to see how things were going for them. And of course they couldn’t just be “normal”. Being future king and queen put all sorts of expectations on them. I was cheering them on and wanted them to be happy. I went through all the emotions with them in this book. And I didn’t want their story to be over. This story sucked me in and I’m so thankful Meghan Quinn gave us more from these two lovely characters! Grab your copy today!

I'm loving this charming Montana town and the people and families in this book! It was time for Morgan's story this time. She's loved Ryan forever but nothing has transpired between them so she's ready to try to move on. This story has a bit of suspense because there is a stranger lingering and watching; waiting. Clearly, it's not good to have a stalker, but this pushed up Ryan and Morgan's timeline. They realized how precious time is and she didn't want anyone but Ryan. At the same time, good things were happening for Morgan and she wasn't the type to let someone stop/slow her down! I was completely lost in this read and I certainly didn't see things coming! This story was intense and I was here for it!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was so excited to get this book and I was completely consumed by Callum and Emery. Emery's life is a little in shambles when Callum shows up. She's not looking for a knight in shining armor, but Callum is there for her. He really sees her. And he knows how to wear Em down. I loved the banter between them; the passion! Callum is demanding and doesn't take no for an answer. Emery isn't a woman to be bossed around. I loved her sass! I loved the way this story is told and how we're also given small glimpses into Callum's life and his work. If you've read other J.T. Geissinger books, you will see cameos of other characters. I couldn't read this book fast enough and yet I didn't want it to end. Highly recommend this book!

Hank might be my new favorite Bennett! He's such an old-fashioned gentleman and you can't help but like him! The chemistry between him and Ella Mae was palpable and believable. I enjoyed their friendship and the realness that was between them. Hank and Ella Mae had an instant connection, but it wasn't insta-love. They meet by chance and turns out, she's his idol's sister! But Travis doesn't have an impact as to why he and Ella work. Travis is a by-product. I liked that he liked her for her. I enjoyed the flow of this story and the development of their relationship. I liked how Hank brought Ella Mae into his world and was a rock for her, when she needed it the most. I couldn't read this book fast enough. While I do recommend reading the previous books in the series, you can read this as a standalone.

I enjoyed how the stories inside are split into segments. And I wasn’t sure how they would connect but I was here for it! Alexandra Ivy started the stories and we learned about Deke and the lives he shattered. But Ian and Tessa had a second chance for a romance. Ian may have made a bad decision, but he was ready to show Tessa he wasn’t going anywhere! I hated how quick their story was over! I wasn’t ready for it to end.

Ella has been hurt by Caden and I LOVED her sassiness!! The blowing up his vehicle was just an accidental bonus lol She was not quite ready to forgive him. I loved their journey and how Caden would watch out for Ella, no matter what. And there was also danger lurking.
