My Review

Wow! This was the first book I’ve read by Hayley and it won’t be my last! Color me impressed. The mafia is always an interesting topic so I was excited to read this one. And whew boy! It didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the dynamics between this couple. Their chemistry was palpable. Luciana has never had power before. And typically in this world, the woman did not. So I loved Gavino’s soft spot for Luciana. There was a power struggle but it felt realistic and the reader can see the love Gavino has for Luciana. This was a captivating read and I struggled to put it down! If you like the mafia world, then grab your copy now.

About the Author:

I was born and raised in a small farming town in California. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. We married four years later and have two little boys! We lived in Oregon for a few years while he served in the US Coast Guard. Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we’re raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
