GAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I devoured this audiobook and couldn't. stop. listening. We, the listeners, and Indy are at Forge's mercy. We are unsure of the rules he plays by and when we think we understand, something else happens and he knocks us off again. This book held me captivated and I thought Erin Mallon and Joe Arden did a FANTASTIC job of bringing Jericho and Indy to life. If you think you've seen an alpha male from Meghan March, you haven't met Jericho yet! HOLY CRAP! He's the alpha-est and broodiest male and so damn sexy.
Indy is a strong female, which I enjoy about Meghan's books. But there's something in her life that is propelling her forward and that's guiding her decisions as this book opens. I really enjoyed the way Jericho and Indy met. And I like the fact that Indy throws him for a loop; the sexual tension between them is intense. I enjoyed the way the big revelations were brought to light and I want to know what makes Jericho tick. I want to know what he has in store for Indy. I am DYING for more of this series! I'm a glutton for punishment and I enjoyed the way this book ended. It wasn't such a cliffhanger that I wanted to throw my iPhone, but it did leave me salivating for more. Whether you read this book or listen to it, I can't recommend it enough. Be sure not to miss this FANTASTIC start of this series!
