MY REVIEW
I haven't read the first book in the series (I will now!) but I didn't feel lost in starting with Rookie Moves. And for the record, I thought the title of this book is SOOOOO SWEET! You'll see what I mean when you read the book, but I think you can agree with me.
I really enjoyed getting lost in Dex and Ava's world. I liked the fact that they had been friends for years and both had been keeping the fact that they truly liked each other secret for a few years. They were like family to each other, but yet they were afraid of changing the status quo. However, Ava is tired of pretending and lays things out. Soon Dex can't resist her anymore and once things heat up, they combust! H-O-T-T!! I'm a sucker for a good friends to lovers story and this one kept me captivated from beginning to the end. I didn't want it to be over. I enjoyed their funny banter with each other and watching their relationship evolve. It was fun, sweet, sexy and cue THE FEELS! I highly recommend this book!
