I received this ARC for my honest review. So I knew going into this book that it would be dark but I wasn't expecting this. It's dark, sometimes vile and yet incredibly hot! Oh the tangled web we weave.... Angel has grown up with/in the family business. Sky has gotten herself involved in something bigger than her. Angel's boss wants information from Sky, but even Angel doesn't know what that is. 

Emotions are all over the place in this book as things are happening in the present, then we see little glimpses of the past. Even among the evil, there's something between Angel and Sky and his protective nature towards her. It was hot and heavy between them even when Sky tried to fight it, that pull between them remained.

This isn't a happy story, but I desperately had to know how this would end. I couldn't stop reading and now I feel like I've been through the ringer. At times, I wasn't sure which way was up, but I didn't see that ending coming. Even though it's a dark story, it held my attention and the chemistry was through the roof!
