My Review

I was lost in the town of Summerville. It was such a quaint town and the people were definitely quirky! The town was as much of a character as the others. I was immediately lost in Arissa's story. She was looking for a change, getting out of the grind. And two things she didn't expect were the Summerville Belles and Hank Weathers. I loved how the small town embraced her and the attraction and pull between Hank and Arissa. I found myself smiling, laughing and feeling throughout this book. I knew this book had secrets and I thought I knew, but there was more than what I expected. I liked that Arissa had a backbone and Hank's best interest in mind. I didn't want to put this book down!

WHOA NELLY! That's the first 2 words I have after reading this book. I kind of don't know what to do with myself now. This book COMPLETELY consumed me. I knew it was wrong, but this book was so right. I didn't condone the actions of Tilly and Gage, but yet I couldn't look away or put this book down. I intended to read a little bit before bed, but yeahhhhh, that didn't happen. I devoured this book and didn't stop until it was over. I FELT everything this book had to offer. I can't get enough of L.A. Fiore and Anthony Dwayne's writing collaborations! But this book was engaging, thought provoking, sexy, powerful and my world has been tilted on its axis. I wasn't expecting all that this book gave me. And I can't recommend this book enough! I will say you must go in with no expectations and just go with it. You'll be happy you did.

My Review

WHEW BOY! This book! I was completely captivated by these characters and this story. I wanted to read with one hand over my eyes because I was creeped out, yet wanted to find out exactly what was going on! I enjoyed how the reader sees present day things unfolding while also getting small glimpses of the past. There was definitely an eerie and ominous feel as I devoured this book! I adored Branch and Emma and sweet little Willa. The dynamics between all these characters were realistic and relate-able. The house and the story behind it was fascinating and I couldn't read this book fast enough to discover what was in store for these friends. Well done story!

Whew boy! THIS BOOK! I was immediately captured by and lost in Rutledge and Peyton's world. While Rutledge's world is quickly falling apart and bringing him to a time he'd rather not live in again, he can't help his attraction to Peyton. And Peyton's world has come crashing down around her and it required a change. In walked Rutledge.  I ADORED their story and I couldn't read this book fast enough. The chemistry between them was intense and Rut had some serious demons. But I liked the way Peyton balanced him out. They didn't realize they needed the other until they found each other. I enjoyed the banter between them and the way their relationship evolved.  I liked how they were comfortable with each other and yet Peyton was slightly shy around Rutledge.The push and pull between these characters was great and I can't recommend this book enough. I really enjoyed the writing of this duo and it felt so seamless. I couldn't tell who was writing and I sure hope we see more from this team in the future! Be sure to grab your copy!
