I'm a bookworm and I go through books like water. This is my blog discussing various books/authors and sometimes random musings. That's just how I roll. I love promoting great stories and authors. Sit back, relax and join me.
Ohhhh this book was so fun to get lost in! You must read A Bit of Hocus Pocus first. This book picks up where the first left off. Hollie is learning more about herself and she wants to help her best friend, Kristin. And both have good intentions but things go a little awry LOL I enjoyed seeing Hollie’s and Lucas’s relationship develop. They’re in a good place and both want what’s best for their friends! This book was fun to read and also had all the feels! I couldn’t read it fast enough and I can’t wait for A Bit of Wee Luck!
Mistletoe hung.
Christmas tree done.
Presents wrapped.
Holiday plans on track.
My first Christmas with Lucas couldn’t be any more perfect! So, a little holly jolly spell can’t hurt anything, right?
Love sometimes needs a little push by elves … or me.
The Jingle Mingle Spell
Evergreen brine. Piece of twine. A bit of red berry. A hair from the one you’ll marry.
I take this string in a line. And with my love, I will entwine. I'll be yours, and you'll be mine … until the end of time.
Note: When true love needs a little holiday magick, use this spell but beware, if one doesn't follow exactly, it could cause more than a little jingle mingle if you get my drift.
A Bit of Holly Jolly is book two in a four novella book series. They must be read in order! A Bit of Holly Jolly - coming December 25, 2022 A Bit of Wee Luck - coming March 17, 2023 A Bit of Razzle Dazzle - coming July 4, 2023
An unlucky witch and her know-it-all nemesis must team up in the first of a new, spicy romantic comedy series from USA Today bestselling author Avery Flynn.
Could it possibly get any worse than having absolutely no magical abilities when you’re a member of the most powerful family of witches ever? It used to be that I’d say no, but then I keep getting set up on dates with Gil Connolly whose hotness is only matched by his ego. Seriously. I can’t stand him. Even if I also can’t stop thinking about him (specifically kissing him) but we’re going to pretend I never told you that part.
So yeah, my life isn’t the greatest right now, but then it goes straight to the absolute worst hell when I accidentally make my sister’s spell glitch and curse my whole family. And the only person who can help non-magical me break the spell? You guessed it. Gil the super hot jerk.
Now we have to work together to save my family and outmaneuver some evil-minded nefarious forces bent on world domination. Oh yeah, and we have to do all that while fighting against the attraction building between us because I may not be magical, but what’s happening between Gil and I sure feels like it.

When Avery Flynn isn't writing about alpha heroes and the women who tame them, she is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip. She has three slightly wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband, and has a slight shoe addiction. Find out more about Avery on her website, follow her on Twitter, like her on her Facebook page, or friend her on her Facebook profile. Also, if you figure out how to send Oreos through the internet, she'll be your best friend for life.
New York Times/USA Today bestselling author Melanie Moreland, lives a happy and content life in a quiet area of Ontario with her beloved husband of thirty-plus years and their rescue cat, Amber. Nothing means more to her than her friends and family, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.
While seriously addicted to coffee, and highly challenged with all things computer-related and technical, she relishes baking, cooking, and trying new recipes for people to sample. She loves to throw dinner parties, and also enjoys traveling, here and abroad, but finds coming home is always the best part of any trip.
Melanie loves stories, especially paired with a good wine, and enjoys skydiving (free falling over a fleck of dust) extreme snowboarding (falling down stairs) and piloting her own helicopter (tripping over her own feet.) She's learned happily ever afters, even bumpy ones, are all in how you tell the story.
