Whew! I was excited to get Deke's story. Maddie is someone from his past and she finds herself in a bind and needing Deke's help. I was here for it! The mission she brought to Deke put them in close proximity, which they hadn't been in for years. I enjoyed their past and the fact they had a chance to get to know each other as adults. I was completely lost in this story and didn't want to put it down. It held me captivated and I loved the flow of Deke's and Maddie's story. This book had EVERYTHING! Danger, mystery, love, laugh out loud moments! I can't recommend this book enough.
