This book sounded so fascinating to me, I just had to indulge! And it was not like anything I've read recently. I didn't know if I should be horrified or turned on by this book. Maybe a little of both, but I tell you, reader, I was sucked into this read! The book begins as Laney is coming to from a plane crash. I enjoyed that I didn't know anything about her prior to the crash, but that I got bits and pieces from her as the story progressed. She is attracted to her captor and she starts learning new things about herself during the time she is with him. Some of it scares her and is new for her, but she's learning to like this new person she is becoming. Her attraction to this stranger grows and passion builds between the two of them. It was an interesting push/pull between them and it made me wonder what would happen in such an isolated area for Laney. But let me tell you, I definitely didn't see that ending coming! Oh man. I will be reading the next book in this series, for sure! If you like an interesting, little bit darker story, then definitely be sure to check this one out! I look forward to reading more from this author.
