I love the start of a new series and this book was FANTASTIC! Granted, we already saw a little of the Belle's in From This Day Forward, but you don't have to read that book to get this book. Anyway, Brooke and Seth. *sigh* Lauren Layne knows how to bring the feels! Her characters are charming, realistic and easy to fall in love with. I was easily and quickly lost in Seth and Brooke's world. The banter back and forth between Seth and Brooke was often times laugh out loud funny and a few times I wanted to strangle Seth. But the emotions these two go through and bring to the reader, oh my goodness! I did not want to put this book down! Neither one of them want a relationship, for very different reasons, but they also can't avoid each other since Brooke is Maya's wedding planner. It's a delicious read.
I also loved getting a glimpse into the lives of the Wedding Belles and seeing them support one another. They are so different and each have their own stories, as this book sets that up. I'm looking forward to reading Heather's story next!
