I'm a HUGE Laura Kaye fan and her books DO NOT disappoint! Her Hard Ink series is fantastic and when I heard about this novella, I HAD to scoop it up! And Detective Kyler Vance is SERIOUSLY sexy! Wow! Beware, reader, this book is HOT HOT HOT! It doesn't take long before the fun begins in this book and Laura Kaye definitely brought her A game to this novella!

I was completely captured by Master Kyler and Mia's story. At first it was all about physical attraction and release but (obviously) it is so much more. Their story is sweet, sassy, sexy, maddening.... basically all the feels! Laura Kaye does a fantastic job of pulling the reader in and getting her emotionally involved in the story. I couldn't put this book down and wanted more! We've seen Detective Vance in the Hard Ink series, but it was great seeing him in his own story! We also see a few of the Hard Ink fellas in this story, too. Vance is such a great alpha male. He cares for his woman and knows what she needs. However, he is a guy and sometimes a bonehead at that! haha Mia is only submissive in the bedroom, outside, she doesn't take crap from anyone. I like strong females who know what they want and Mia does just that.

This is the start of the new, Blasphemy series and it was a great set up and start. We see the different Masters as Mia meets them and get a feel for them. I can't wait to dive more into the world of Blasphemy and see what each Master has to offer. Did I mention it's HOT!?! Mia appreciates what the Doms have to offer, but she only has eyes for one. If you enjoy a great D/s story, be sure to scoop this one up!
