My Review

Ok, I'll admit, I want to live in S.C.'s world! This was one of those books where I couldn't pull myself away. I didn't get up to eat or do anything. I was wholly immersed in Hayden and Kenzie's story.  I loved seeing the racing aspect around them, as that was their livelihood. However, this book picks up where Furious Rush left off and we see what's going on with Hayden and Kenzie and how she's picking up the pieces.  My heart hurt for all that she was going through.  There were times when I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall over the stubbornness of some people! There's also a new player in the game and she's not good for Hayden OR Kenzie. I enjoyed how Hayden stepped up for his "family" even though he didn't have to and we, the reader, got a glimpse into the past with the them.  There are many things happening in this book and I'm trying not to give anything away, while expressing the fact that I LOVED this read! It's fast paced and I didn't want to put it down. I had to find out what was next! I HIGHLY recommend this read.  (But if you haven't read Furious Rush yet, get on that first.) Go forth and buy!

S.C. Stephens - Furious Rush review

I'm not going to lie, I was SUPER excited to get a chance for an early review copy of this book. (I've had this book on preorder since Sept 2015- when I first found out about it) I loved her Thoughtless series (OH KELLAN!) and was looking forward to this new series from her.  AND HOLY SEXUAL TENSION, BATMAN!  Whew!  This book is intense, action packed and seriously sexy. And I couldn't devour it fast enough! I loved Kellan Kyle but now seriously love Hayden Hayes, too.

I loved watching the layers get pulled back from both Kenzie and Hayden.   These two first see each other in very different circumstances but then they meet and learn they can't be friends.  Yet there is a pull between them they try to ignore.  Their story is intense, exhilarating, sweet, passionate and WHOA, THE FEELS!  S.C. Stephens does a great job of putting the reader in the world of motorcycle racing and the rush the riders get while doing it.  I found myself holding my breath at times waiting to see what was going to happen while they were flying on their bikes! 

At times I hated those around both Kenzie and Hayden for what they did or how they treated them.  It was maddening as some things played out and seriously frustrating.  But I loved how Kenzie and Hayden accepted each other because of the person they were, not because of circumstances or those around them.  They developed a friendship and got to know one another and watching their story unfold was delicious.  I don't want to tell you too much and give anything away because spoilers suck! Especially with this book!  Hayden isn't a rock star like Kellan but he's definitely a rock star in his own right! Be prepared to meet your next book boyfriend!
