OMG OMG OMG!! THIS BOOK!!! EVERYONE needs to know about this fantastic read! I can't share my excitement enough over this one. I was literally sucked in and immersed from the very beginning and my heart felt all the emotions! I just kept gasping at the next page and next page, kept getting better and better. I honestly couldn't read this book fast enough and I never wanted it to end! I found myself gasping out loud often and I couldn't believe the next thing that happened. Violet was seen by leadership as less than, but in reality, she was so much more! I loved her strength and perseverance. And there's so much more to say but I don't want to ruin this beautiful story for you. I enjoyed Violet's friends and learning about those around her. I had to decide who I liked and who she needed to watch out for! This book was fast paced and very enjoyable. There's a lot of action, a bit of romance, and definite growth of the characters. I seriously cannot recommend this book enough. Please do yourself a favor and grab this book! Rebecca knocked it out of the park!

My Review: 

I was excited to dive into this read. I was afraid it would break me. And surprisingly, this book didn't make me cry but the FEELS are definitely there. This story was told in a very unique way and I enjoyed how past and present collided. I thought I knew where this book was going but Rebecca brought out gasps and shocks to the reader and I loved every moment of it. This book wowed me and I'm so glad she shared this wonderful story with us. It was a beautiful read and I couldn't put it down. I was completely enamored with these characters and the lives they lead. I really don't want to ruin this story for you and I think you should go in totally blind. Just read and enjoy!

My Review

Whew! THIS BOOK! I know Rebecca is going to slay me and BOY DID SHE! And I loved every minute of it! Camden had always protected and loved Willow. And she had always loved him. They've always danced around each other, never admitting feelings. When circumstances bring Cam back home, he has to face Willow again. Turns out, he's still protective of her and she's equally as protective of him. They learn they have to lean on each other and they have to work together in order to accomplish their task to bring money into their town. There were so many factors tugging on this couple and the things they had to overcome wasn't easy. But it was beautiful and real and solid. I devoured this book and couldn't read it fast enough. Highly recommend this read!

I’m a hopeless romantic and adore all things chocolate, coffee and paleo. No, seriously, I need to have a caffeine IV put in. I’ve adored reading all my life, and writing naturally evolved from my love of late nights and promises of one more page.

I’m also a military wife of sixteen years. During my husband’s deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I was devouring a book a day, and during his third deployment, I finally wrote my own. With a somewhat ironic timing, I received my book deal for Full Measures during his fourth deployment, and published a month after he returned home. We’re currently preparing for his fifth deployment, so check out the blog for the latest!

On the homefront, we have six kids. Yes, you read that right—six. If I’m not writing or playing guitar, I’m usually tying hockey skates for our four boys, or sneaking in John Hughes marathons with my two daughters. We fostered and adopted our youngest daughter from the foster system and we’re passionate about helping others do the same through our non-profit, One October! We’re always busy navigating the winding road of our daughter’s recent autism diagnosis, getting our boys to hockey, prepping for a deployment, and generally trying to stay sane. We’re die-hard Mets fans, but our hearts call Colorado home.

Rebecca Yarros - The Last Letter review

WOW! This book was completely captivating, gut-wrenching and so beautiful! It was a book that left me with a hangover and will stay with me for a long time. I don't want to say too much and ruin this story for you. However, I knew by reading the synopsis, that it would probably make me cry. I think it's a testament to Rebecca's writing that she sucked me into this story and I cried (the first time) at only 9% into the book. Now, don't let that warn you away from the book. This story is powerful and moving. I think it's one everyone needs to read. But, let me warn you, you might not want to read this entire book in public.  *cue tears* I felt every emotion and every high and low this book had.  It embedded under my skin and even days later writing this review, it doesn't want to let me go.  I can't tell you how much I recommend this read, other than PREORDER IT NOW!
