Kate Canterbary - In a Jam review

She's the one who got away. She just doesn't know it.

When Shay Zucconi’s step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farm—under two conditions.

First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Second—and most problematic since her fiancĂ© just called off the wedding—Shay must be married within one year.

Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants but she’ll do anything to save the only real home she’s ever known.

Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.

A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind. Until Shay returns to their hometown and turns his life upside down.

My Review

This book was so cute, sweet and flirty! It gave me all the feels and I just adored Shay and Noah! Noah was in a unique place in life. He was raising his niece and running a profitable business. But being a single parent was hard. Especially when his niece has the issues she has. She’s a sweet kid but I found myself laughing and sometimes gasping at what she said or did. I liked the realness between these people. They were relatable and endearing. And the chemistry between Shay and Noah… oh my! I couldn’t put this book down! Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this!

Kate Canterbary - Boss in the Bedsheets review

What a fun, delicious read to get lost in! Zelda was looking to change her life. She wasn't looking for Ash! I very much enjoyed the way in which they met. I found myself laughing out loud at the antics that brought them together and the immediate chemistry between them was palpable through the pages. Ash was consumed with work. Work was his life. Zelda was a breath of fresh air and he didn't know what hit him. But she was there for him when he needed it and they didn't even REALLY know each other. I was lost in their relationship and the ebb and flow they had. They understood and respected each other. I didn't want this book to end! I can't recommend this book enough.

He’s a beast in the spreadsheets and a boss in the bedsheets

Mr. Santillian,

Despite the fact I'm currently living out of your guest room and sleeping with you most nights, I am writing to announce my resignation effective two weeks from today.

In other words, I'll locate someone who is both obscenely overqualified and willing to devote their days to the handful of tasks you are able to wrench from your perfectionist, micromanaging grip. It may be difficult to find a Nobel laureate genius looking for basic filing work on such short notice, but I'll do my best.

Don't worry about your sister's wedding this weekend. I still plan to attend as your date, assuming you've finished hating me by then.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Zelda

Ms. Besh,

Resignation not accepted.

I'll see you at home.

Ash
