  I know rock stars. I grew up in the business, and now I make a living managing their tours. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.   Lots and lots of ugly.   All that ugly is why I’ve sworn off dating rockers, but sleeping with them, well...I’ve been known to make the occasional exception.   One sultry night in Vegas, Mo Aronson, lead singer of Unrequited, becomes one of those exceptions. We dance, we connect, we...get married.   That wasn’t in the cards. And the positive pregnancy test a few weeks later really wasn’t in the cards.   Despite the shock, I think I can handle becoming a mom. What I’m not sure I can handle is the younger, bad boy rocker who won’t back down no matter how many times I push him away.

My Review

I was very quickly lost in this story and I didn't want to walk away from these characters! Mo and Michaela are an unlikely duo, but the chemistry between them was undeniable! I was excited to step back into the lives of Unrequited. Mo has portrayed a playboy and sometimes has lived up to that rockstar lifestyle, but it's not who he is. He's tired of the life and when he's in Vegas for a show, he wants to get away for a bit to just be. He runs into someone he knows and she's completely unexpected. Michaela doesn't date rockstars. Been there done that. But she can't deny the pull to Mo. And whew boy! I loved this book! I couldn't read it fast enough. I wanted them to last. I wanted them to have an epic love story. I loved how sensitive Mo was and how he was with Michaela. She's a bit prickly and he had to learn how to work with that. This couple was very complementary of each other and I didn't want to put this book down! I can't recommend this read enough!

My Review

This is my first book from Julia Wolf, but won't be my last! Santiago and Maeve have a past. It's one she'd like to forget, but they have two different recollections of things. Santiago is attracted to Maeve and always has been. When the band he's in, Unrequited, gets the opportunity to experience Maeve play the drums, they know they're onto something! She wants to push the past and her feelings aside and just enjoy playing drums with the band. Santiago wants to ignore the pull between them and just do his job. But that pull was delicious! I liked the slow burn between them. I loved seeing a strong female embracing who she is and being a badass drummer! While these guys are rockstars, there is a realness to them and the reader can identify what they're going through. I really enjoyed this book and didn't want to put it down!
