My Review
I really enjoyed this book! I didn't know it was 2nd in the series, and while I realized this after I started reading, I didn't feel lost. However, I do want to go back and read the 1st book. I was very quickly lost in Kaylee and Derrick's journey. The unexpected arrival into Kaylee's life took her on a journey she didn't see coming. Meade Lake is a beautiful place that holds an interesting story tied to Kaylee. I liked how Derrick was a safe place for Kaylee and the two of them just clicked. I enjoyed their friendship and how he was there for her in a very unexpected, tumultuous time. Lots of changes in Kaylee's life. I don't want to ruin this beautiful story for you, so I can't say much but I will tell you to add this one to your list! It was a sweet, powerful, very well written story and I didn't want to put it down!

Meet Taylor Danae Colbert
Taylor has been writing since the tender age of seven, when her mother bought her her first typewriter.
Once she finished her first work, a tall tale about a girl with hair that grew too fast, her father told her she should be published. And so, her lifelong dream of becoming a published writer was born.
Taylor never thought of herself as a romance writer, but it turns out, she loves love.
When she's not chasing her kids, watching Impractical Jokers with her husband, running, or playing around with her two pups, she's probably under her favorite blanket, either writing a book, or reading one.
Taylor lives in Maryland, where she was born and raised.
