My Review
Ok, first off, can we talk about how gorgeous this cover is!? It's very eye catching and unassuming. Kinda like Magnolia. So, I was excited to go back to NOLA and get Magnolia's story. AND WHEW BOY! This book did NOT disappoint! I couldn't devour it fast enough and the punches kept coming! I liked seeing strong Magnolia, what got her to where she was today and how she finally had a man who was her equal. Not someone who wanted to bow down to her. While this man was from her past, he had to show himself to her, to show her he wasn't playing around. I LOVED the chemistry between them. It was palpable through the pages and I cannot wait to get the conclusion to her story.
