My Review
I'm a glutton for punishment and will read Meghan's books even though I KNOW the next book isn't available yet. Her writing is THAT GOOD! And this book did not disappoint. The feel of it and the story line was different from her other books but it was AMAAZING! I completely devoured this read. I enjoyed how this book showed events in the past, while the current time was happening. It was a great way for the reader to see what had happened to get Whitney and Lincoln where they were today. The feuding families made some of the things that happened in this book laugh out loud funny, while others not so much. The Riscoff-Gable feud was something pushed down to these characters their whole lives. It wasn't something that happened to them, but they weren't allowed to interact with each other. But fate stepped in and changed their course. The chemistry between them was off the charts HOT and she made him fight for something, for once in his life. The push/pull between them was intense and palpable through the pages. I enjoyed (most of) the family Whitney has left in her life and I'm glad they're there for her. I'm ready for book 2 now!
