It's time to grab the universe by the balls and show it who's boss.
My Review
First, let me tell you that I LOOOOOOOVED this book. In fact, this is my 2nd time reading it and I loved it as much as the first time, if not maybe more. This book is a rom com, but it's also so much more. RC Boldt does a great job of bringing her readers all the feels! It's literally laugh out loud funny, a little cringe worthy, sexy, sassy, sweet and GAH! I wanted to wrap myself up in Sarah and Jack. Does that sound weird? Well, I'll just be weird then because it's true. Sarah is a likable character. She's funny, she talks to us (the reader) and we see her inner monologue, which will seriously have you cracking up. She's someone I could totally be friends with! And Jack ... *swoon* that man is a saint. Seriously. I love that while they are going through this situation/ordeal/plague, he hangs in there. He wants to hang out with Sarah despite everything. Yes, their friends are getting married and they are the best man/woman, but that's not the only reason for them to hang out.
I finished reading this book a couple days ago now and I'm still thinking about it. It's one that will stay with you after you get to The End. I love that Jack is a dependable, nice, decent guy and even though he wasn't looking for anything, he found it in Sarah. She may have a crazy friend that makes their situation even funnier and their friends Maggie and Ry (also swoon worthy if you haven't read Clam Jam, you need to do that!) don't give them any slack either. Their problem is a well known one and they can't seem to find the relief they need. Jack also is a good sport and he makes jokes. Have I mentioned that I love him? No, well, I'm claiming him first. He's mine! So you, my friend, need to pick up this book! It's just so good and I can't recommend it enough! Get ready to get your laugh and your feels on in this book!
